Obvious Options

(Actuality vs Delusion)

The forces that divide humanity issue from religion, tribalism, racism and self-interest. The fact that right wing groups emphasise the ‘virtues’ of these principles clearly identifies their support base and driving principles. It would seem obvious that an assault on the principles that create undesirable circumstances is preferable to dealing with the (disastrous) consequences after the event.

It is also obvious that the human being/condition is its own guiding principle. Your level of fear and discomfort constantly urges you toward a personal and social harmony. No one needs another person or a text prescribing behavioural codes for all to follow. Would anyone be surprised to learn that the existential possesses all the necessary requirements for harmonious perpetuation? Infinity validates itself!

Now enter, for a very short period it would seem, the arrogance of ‘civilised’ humanity. This creature labours under the misapprehension that it somehow knows better than the forces that created it. Homo-sap has gone to elaborate lengths encoding detailed explanations of ‘reality’. These fabricated views differ from one social group to another yet they also bear some remarkable similarities like peace, love and harmony. But why focus on our commonality and harmonious similarities when we can embrace our differences and then project personal/social terrors onto the other?

The tenure of the species diminishes day by day; the hottest New Year ever recorded was experienced in Australia this year; but we are assured by (bought) scientists and politicians that global warming does not exist or that it is not the result of Corporate greed. The effects of pollution on the environment/food chain will be dramatic. Homo-sap’s delusions threaten the viability of all mammalian life on the planet. The option is of course obvious; that which is valued today is the heart of the destruction forces that threaten life on this planet – if you wish to survive, invert (subvert) those values.

I have recently obtained copies of the Torah, Koran and New Testament – manuals of the three most murderous religions on the planet. They are condemned by their own history; nothing good can issue from perversity or filth (social pollution). These religions, including Hinduism and its derivations, are appalling failures.

I have undertaken, as a gesture of defiance and to maintain constant vigilance, the practice of wiping my arse with the pages of these texts after my daily toilet. This most invigorating and refreshing practice prepares me well for my daily activities and offers a perspective that would otherwise be lacking. It is hoped that disclosure of my personal method of preparation may provide some inspiration for others who are far more imaginative.

We are all faced with the personal challenge of removing the forces of death and destruction from our lives. Conservative governments and the forces (Corporate) that control them would seem an obvious place to start.

This writer would never presume to formulate a way for others to follow; I would simply state that everyone already knows what to do; let your joy be your guide and disquiet be your radar.

Avarice, greed and self-interest are killing the planet. The Transnational Corporations are life-threatening institutions of social disease and environmental destruction. They manipulate information and control governments. Would you allow a lying thief to harm your family? It is your life and your/our planet. Why allow sinister forces to destroy the planet?

Whale meat is not required to sustain life in Japan. Would we allow the Japanese whaling industry to destroy the beautiful leviathans of the sea for the sake of a novelty meal and financial greed? The Japanese whaling industry displays its contempt for the world by flouting conventions and exploiting a loophole in a scientific program. Japan makes a laughing stock of the world while it destroys one of nature’s wonders.

Our leaders are subject to their respective populations – our inaction in the face of the obvious is to blame; subject your leaders and remind them they have been placed in responsible positions to serve not to rule or be manipulated by commercial interests.

Money is filth.

Humanity is One – We are One.

March on the Capital.

Peace to all.
