War criminal, David Kilcullen, addresses National Press Club

international / peace/war / commentary

Dr David Kilcullen (UNSW) recently addressed the National Press Club in Canberra -- unfortunately I was unable to attend due to a prior commitment with freedom fighters! No great loss as Kilcullen is a very familiar piece of work, he is ‘stuck’ and always behaves in a predictable manner; his greatest skill is his gypsy ability to mirror reader/audience expectations and deliver what is expected not what is necessary, ‘but more on that later!’

Kilcullen is a classic STRUCTURALIST (look it up) and is therefore vulnerable to exposure utilising post-structuralist disciplines, particularly deconstructionism, which utilises analytic methods such as focusing on (the pattern of) OMISSIONS in a discourse rather than the primary delivered text.

The pattern of omissions reveals an enemy’s disposition to a far greater extent than the overt, primary discourse, as the critical faculty is active presenting the primary discourse. For example, a constant theme in Kilcullen’s discourses is ‘terrorism;’ however, he has yet to adequately define that term, probably due to the fact that a credible and accurate definition would severely compromise his employer, the USA! Yea, mate, we continue to hold the view that killing innocent civilians and creating widespread havoc and destruction is the most accurate measure of a terrorist!

Kilcullen also omitted to mention why the US feels the need to invade and occupy smaller, weaker nations and steal their valuable resources or spread its tentacles around the globe in a futile attempt to dominate the world. Indeed, faced with the ugly reality of his employer, Kilcullen opts to entertain and accommodate his audience with flawed logic, glaring omissions and agreeable accommodations – it has served him well in the past, but no more I’m afraid, as freedom fighters have incorporated postmodern warfare tactics, much to America’s great cost and Kilcullen’s surprise.

Taking the advice of passé theorists is proving counter-productive and very costly indeed, but Kilcullen always was a second-rater in Oz, which is probably why he sought out the less intelligent Americans. However, it seems even rustic Americans have woken up to Kilcullen’s ill-advised strategies, which are nothing more than rehashes of criminal assassination methods utilised in the Vietnam War – Kilcullen is ALL re-packaging and presentation with very little new material.

So let’s have it Dave, define ‘terrorism’ and explain why America constantly flouts international law and convention by engaging in territorial acquisitions, pre-emptive warfare and the mass murder of countless civilians, which, in Iraq’s tragic case resulted in a horrendous CIVILIAN HOLOCAUST -- experts, advocates and common folk alike are aware that the illegal invasion, ruination and occupation of Iraq constitutes the most heinous crime of the new century!

Your participation in this and other crimes against humanity is a matter of record, Mr Kilcullen; another job ‘well done,’ is it, mate? History and/or the Courts will be your judge, unlike most of your cohorts in crime, YOU'RE young enough to see it through, arsehole!
