"Erect Penis" Defence for Assange

international / mass media / commentary

The QC acting for Assange in his appeal against extradition to Sweden offered the Court an astounding piece of factual information:

"If a woman chooses to spend the night in a single bed with a male, there is an inevitable possibility that she will come into contact with an erect penis at some time," barrister Ben Emmerson, QC, told the court. For this stunning bit of legal brainwork, dog-collared Assange pays thousands.

Women have been navigating erect penises -- one way or the other -- since the beginning; however, reflex erections do not of their own accord find themselves inside vaginas!

It's a sad case for 'gifted' hacker, opportunist and publicity seeking glamour boy, Julian Assange. Seeking notoriety has its price, especially in his chosen profession. The ankle bracelet, house arrest, fund starvation and other limits placed on his movements are just the beginning. It will end badly as his battery of 'astute' lawyers are already aware.

Assange may have regrets about breaking the cardinal rule of hackers and digital warriors -- ANONYMITY! He could have published all the material without revealing his identity; but that is water under the bridge now.

He also set a very bad example for emerging hackers and cyber warriors and for that he lost considerable support from the digital underground. Nevertheless, we empathise with his plight.

We do not wish to pre-empt his legal team, but another sexual fact may assist -- 'a man has two heads, but only one has the brain' -- a little late perhaps.

Nevertheless, good luck ol' boy, you'll need it!
