Myopia

Never before in modern history has the sensibility of the population been so anaesthetised. And never before will such a high price be extracted for the failure to reign in nefarious groups that have taken control of the major institutions of power.

While we brood in self-involved distraction, our options are being slowly but effectively eroded and our hard-won liberties are being curtailed. Yet where is the reactive response to these occurrences? With the exception of people of conscience, inertia and apathy has permeated the majority.

Surely it is not difficult to identify the means by which the ‘few’ wield influence over the many; financial constraint (debt) is the favoured and most prevalent method in the first world and deprivation is the imposed method in the ‘developing’ world. The ‘few’ are acutely aware that a population with an excess of time and adequate means for provision are more difficult to manage than a population forced to labour to the point of fatigue – an exhausted person is far less likely to pose any challenge. This situation is easily achieved by the inequitable distribution of the final product of labour – ‘wealth.’ If the greater percentage of wealth is channelled into the pockets of the few, the masses are restricted to insufficient immediate means to meet their survival requirements. In order to balance the imposed deficit, the many are forced to become indebted to the few (who originally stole the greater portion of the fruits of labour.) The resulting effect is an increase in labour production to meet the artificially imposed burden, which in turn results in depletion of available energy reserves resulting in a population that is easier to manage while simultaneously increasing the wealth of the few – perfect! This strategy is deployed on local populations and in the international arena.

Capitalism can only survive through theft, exploitation and inequity. ‘Profit’ has become an acceptable term; however, if the reader would care to analyse the full implications of the word “profit” it would become one of the most obscene words in any language.

The majority in a Capitalist society face a life of servility and toil while the ‘few’ gloat and bloat on the sweat of others. This situation persists due to the servile majority accepting their circumstances. Directing energy in the form of opposition against the ‘few’ reaps meagre results as the few are supported by the many. It is the support base that requires targeting.

Social reformation begins with personal reformation. Humanity is already/innately One – we are unified by default. The more effective response is elimination of divisionist doctrinaire belief systems in personal consciousness. A refusal to adopt or accept superimposed belief systems is the only requirement for the eradication of any ruling elite. This extends to All systems. Adopting an ideology that engages a prevailing dominant ideology through opposition is also self-defeating as individual subjects, if not reformed, will again find themselves in servitude – as history has proven time and again. Any person, group or institution that would formulate a pattern for others to follow is self-interested, pure and simple.

It is the prerogative of each one of us to simply withdraw our support and thereby remove the shackles of slavery. The slave mentality is the disease – avoiding the issue of personal reform by targeting the external/others is a convenient form of denial.

Who is brave and able to stand alone? The slave mentality or those who live another’s dream cannot understand the full implications of the following statement: To stand al-one eventuates in ‘All One.’

Do not be led and above all do not subscribe, refuse all superimpositions.

We are One.
