Who or what is a Kevin Rudd? Who does he represent, what distinguishes him from his conservative opponent, John Howard? In answer to the first question, NOTHING, Rudd is a proven non-entity; he represents no one I am able to locate, notwithstanding many Australians will vote against Howard but not for Rudd. There is nothing that distinguishes Rudd from Howard; he is only a paler version, a conservative with a lower case “c”. Rudd has supported Howard on more occasions than he has opposed him – and for those who may be wondering, yes, Rudd is the ‘opposition’ leader. Rudd faces the elections with nothing, no political platform, no ideology, and no real distinguishing characteristics – yet he hopes to gain the support of the people with his 'me too' politics! The people, the Australian people who have been screaming for a real leader to restore the nation to its former values and restore its sovereignty after its brush with the neo-colonial cringe mentality of Howard -- continue to wait in vain.
The people have waited 11 years for someone to lead them out of the shameful wilderness of cowardice, cringe mentality, unfairness, disparity, inequity, crushing debt, environmental degradation, corporate servitude, depressed wages, higher costs, neglected dental, health and educational services and the failure of our State regulatory and legal institutions. The failures of the Howard government are monumental. The world laughs (and is affronted) as I write accounts of bungling security services (AFP) and their Howard loving chimpanzee chiefs. The executive government (Andrews, Ruddock, Downer) and State institutions have failed the people and their duty to citizens (Hicks).
But there have been strident advances in racism, victimisation, divisionism and disunity during the tenure of the rodent who would be the most miserable servile lackey Prime Minister the world has ever seen leading a nation.
For all the above and many more reasons Rudd was/is unable to oppose the government -- for Pete’s sake! Kevin Rudd is a nothing who leads a nothing party to no where. Bigger fools are we to follow!
However, we are thankful we had time to discover what this ‘man’ really is – just another coward following a bigger coward, playing lackey to the same powers – if a distinguishing feature exists, it must be the ability to suck harder -- the shame of it all!
It is fortunate the younger generation has no memory of the many brave Australians and sometimes foolhardy fearless men and women who forged this nation and put it on the world map in almost every field and area of human endeavour – AND WE EXCELLED!
We buried our racist past and made monumental leaps forward until the Howard retrogression. Australia was on the threshold of becoming a Republic but Howard intervened and returned us to the inglorious past of white Australia and the colonial cringe mentality – even the Queen expressed her disappointment at our tragic (pathetic) failure to assert complete independence.
There are no mysteries regarding the major parties today. For the want of COURAGE -- a commodity not in short supply in traditional Australia -- THE NATION AND ITS PEOPLE WERE LOST! Should I write an epitaph or should we all recall who and what we once were and could easily be again.
Send the clearest possible message at election time; under no circumstances whatsoever support the major parties with your Senate or House of Representatives vote. BE BRAVE, they know we seek to restore the nation, the powers that rape, plunder and subdue would rather we remain servile; be aware and remember the many brave and wonderful people that have made this nation great. Cowards like Howard and Rudd have no part to play in sovereign Australia.
The future promises to be extremely challenging for the entire world; we can ill-afford to place proven incompetents, cowards and timid failures in positions that require real leadership. Howard and Rudd have already failed the test.
We look forward, we look to our region and to consolidation; Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Group of nations together. The foundation has already been laid.
Make your choice, servitude or sovereignty.
We may yet have something to “rejoice” about!
