Journalistic fools feast at media trough

Has it occurred to anyone that recent media releases of (destroyed) CIA tapes and intelligence reports contradicting Bush and Cheney rhetoric on Iran have no real value other than to create sensationalist stories and media feeding frenzies? Easily led and distracted journalists feed on these releases as do sharks in a feeding frenzy – much to the delight of Whitehouse PR and press staff! One can almost hear the contemptuous and scornful remarks of Whitehouse consultants, ‘that’ll keep ‘em entertained and busy while we push on with the plan!’

My question is EXACTLY HOW MANY TIMES MUST BUSH AND HIS NEO-CONS BE ‘EXPOSED’ BEFORE ACTION IS TAKEN?

Recent releases appear to compromise the government but they do not. The CIA tapes are DESTROYED – that means the evidence is destroyed the rest is HYPE and DISTRACTION! How easily are Americans manipulated and that includes writers who oppose the government?

They all feast on the tantalising BUT NON-SUBSTANTIVE morsels offered them by very astute marketing and mass communication consultants. The amount of ‘analysis’ and futile responses to these stories is staggering but the criminals remain free for the lack of action and FOCUS on KNOWN WAR CRIMES.

Initial exposures of the orchestrated lies of WMD, which resulted in an illegal invasion and the deaths of over one million innocent civilians, provide ample evidence in any war crimes tribunal/court. REMAIN FOCUSED ON THE SUBSTANTIVE MATERIAL WHICH IS NOW FREELY AVAILABLE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN and resist the temptation to be constantly titillated with sensationalist but thin material.

We have had the ‘goods’ on them for years, stay focused and pursue legal strategies that RESULT IN ARRESTS!

American and many international journalists -- who should know better -- are being distracted and manipulated like little children.

Ignore the tinsel, do not be swayed or taken off course; RELENTLESSLY pursue EXISTING SOLID material and nail the criminals.
