Let the Children Play

Shame on us all for tolerating the needless deaths of millions of innocent children worldwide but especially in Africa. Have we all become heartless PIG Americans? Remember the embargo Clinton placed on Iraq, which killed more children than the Bush invasion and subsequent war? The non-intervention of Condi Rice and John Bolton in South Lebanon resulted in more children killed than military casualties – give war a chance! Callousness, heartlessness and self-interest result in the deaths of millions of children every year but who cares as long as our tanks are full?

The tragedy and futility of these deaths is made plain by China acquiring large oil supplies from Africa without the need for aggressive and COSTLY warfare. Is the point lost on the rustic, brutal Americans? The 45,000 deaths in the Congo every month – mostly children -- can be traced to the CIA instigated assassination of Patrice Lumumba, one time Prime Minister of the new Republic of Congo, who was the only person capable of uniting the resource rich nation. But it seems Americans would rather take their resources dripping with the blood of innocents than opt for the humanitarian approach. Must we all follow the lead of the despicable, callous, selfish, Americans?

I sincerely hope not!
