Russia: international laughing stock

There has been a lot of laughter at Russia’s expense in the offices of State in many Western nations lately, but particularly in the USA. Where is Russia, what of all the threats in support of its traditional ally Serbia, over the Kosovo secession? The Russian bear proved to be toothless and clawless; Russia's failure to back its talk with actions has earned it ridicule from the entire international community; the laughter from the West can be heard all the way to the Kremlin – Russia’s credibility is less than zero at the moment. No powerful nation can afford such a huge loss of face and hope to survive in the future.

We recall the famous stand-off between the US and Russia over the Cuban missile crisis. US president at the time, Jack Kennedy, did not hesitate to threaten nuclear war if Russia did not remove missile installations threatening the USA – Kennedy’s actions were completely justified in the circumstances!

In contrast to Kennedy, observe Russian weakness when faced with US missile ‘defence’ installations in Poland and the Czech Republic – a reversal of the Cuban missile scenario!

Rather than DEMAND the removal of clearly threatening military installations the weak Russian leadership engages in useless and demeaning discussions with a criminal and rogue nation! ALL threatening missile installations must be resisted with the full force of a full-scale military response. However, it seems that Russian leaders lack the courage necessary to protect their homeland!

The Russian bear has become a circus performer for the world to ridicule. A toothless old bear balancing on a ball to the taunts and prodding of its enemies. Yet the situation is easily remedied.

Perhaps the most compromising situation for Russia was inaction after its ‘brave’ and vociferous ‘support’ of traditional ally Serbia over the Kosovo secession.

Kosovo represents a spectacular failure against the criminal forces that are responsible for most of the chaos in the world today, especially in the Middle East! Russia is fully justified to go on the offensive in support of its Serbian ally. The criminal nations that flout law and civilised conventions have no legal authority whatsoever! Kosovo presents a perfect scenario for a moral, LEGAL and MILITARY victory; the force of arms is fully justified in the circumstances.

America has recently pledged to support the criminal Muslim secessionists with military assistance. No clearer case exists for the justified use of military force to remove secessionist elements and other invasive forces from Serbian sovereign territory. But Russia vacillates while China abandons its Serbian ally at great cost – TIBET! Did we expect any different?

In view of America’s brazen military support for Thaci’s criminal secessionist government, the appropriate AND LEGALLY JUSTIFIED response would be Russian military support for Serbia – but where is Russia? Shame and cowardice are not strong enough terms to describe Russia’s current FAILURES.

It seems the mocking taunts from the West are well earned; Russia and China have completely misjudged the situation, as current political events highlight!

A point is reached that makes recovery almost impossible; today Russia and China both precariously balance on that point!

Are we are now entering the post-'MAD' era?

Russian and Chinese inaction over Kosovo has resulted in political instability on their respective home fronts, Tibet, etc. The Sino-Russian 'ship' of hot air, posturing and inaction is beginning to sink!

The tatters of the alliance will eventually lead to the "Mutual Assured Destruction" deterrent being ignored. 'MAD' has been the principal reason nuclear weapons have not been used to date.

However, if Russia and China continue to disregard the consequences of their inaction then they will forfeit their prerogatives to the USA, which will be only too happy to assume the position of the world’s single superpower.

Who knows where that will take us?

Pre-emptive nuclear strike anyone?

In other words: WAKE UP RUSSIA AND CHINA - THE TIME TO ACT IS YESTERDAY!
