ape.jpg image Slogans are Not Solutions nano, Tuesday, Mar 20 2007, 10:48pm
In a recent speech delivered to a defence ‘think-tank’, the Australian Prime Minister John Howard displayed his total contempt for the Australian public and his audience by once again avoiding the real issues of the Iraq occupation. Howard refused to acknowledge the absolute fiasco and civilian death toll that he and fellow coalition leaders, Blair and Bush are directly responsible for. Rather than face the issues of a criminal invasion, subsequent oil plunder and a horrendous civilian death toll, Howard, in step with his American masters, echoed the same refrain as Bush. Howard asked that we forget four long years of absolute disaster and mismanagement and grant more time to the occupiers to essentially wreak more havoc on a nation that only wishes for the removal of all foreign troops from its soil. Bush and Howard image The Politics of Apathy: an Australian story yarra, Friday, Mar 16 2007, 1:29pm
While America leads the world in insularism and denial, Australia is the world leader in complacency and apathy. No cultural equivalent for the Oz expression, “she’ll be right, mate”, exists anywhere – notwithstanding the variation of “who gives a shit?” Today, non-involvement is proving to be a very costly cultural habit. America has become the world’s most hated nation and will soon attract very real consequences for its actions, one of which is the acquisition of Australia as a colonial trophy. Australia remains an international laughing stock under the servile leadership of lackey prime minister, John Howard; Aussies are experiencing their eleventh year under the rule of the most slavish, gutless, lying, duplicitous, cringing, government on record. No other leader in world history has displayed the servility and cowardice of John Howard. When America says jump, the despicable little coward, Howard, says how high, boss! (story and 2 images)

Guantanamo (illegal) Bay imagePDF Document Hicks Update: Determined to Fight Cleaves Editorial Team, Friday, Mar 2 2007, 9:35pm
An Australian son abandoned by the nation and his government has decided to fight the fabricated charges brought against him by the criminal Bush regime. You bloody little bewdy! Against all odds and after years of psychological and physical torture Hicks proves his mettle. The murdering yanks and the slimy Howard government COULDN’T BREAK OUR LITTLE AUSSIE FIGHTER! One can only imagine the forlorn faces of the Howard servile government that no doubt desperately hoped Hicks would break and accept a plea bargain in time for the elections. The Hicks case as previously stated has all the ingredients to bring down the servile government of John ‘deputy-sheriff’ Howard. (story and 2 comments and 2 images and 1 attached file)

John Pilger image Australia: the new 51st state John Pilger via rialator, Friday, Mar 2 2007, 7:02pm
John Howard's servility to the U.S. is even greater than Tony Blair's and has earned him the nickname Bush's deputy sheriff. The conspiracy between Washington, the media and politicians is eroding the country's freedoms. (story and 1 image)

The very dishonourable John Howard image Hicks, Howard and Rogue USA nano, Friday, Mar 2 2007, 6:20am
Anyone familiar with the criminal tactics of thoroughly corrupt State Institutions would not be surprised to learn of the plea bargain offered Guantanamo Bay detainee, David Hicks. After five years of torture and various other forms of physical and psychological abuse, the U.S. has offered a deal that would see Hicks released from Guantanamo but not necessarily from continued incarceration. Antiquated 'solutions': Howard and Cheney image Desperation Politics major mitchell, Saturday, Feb 24 2007, 10:43am
A picture is worth considerably more than a thousand words; the picture below depicts two very old and ossified conservatives unable to adequately deal with a rapidly changing New World. Antiquated and redundant divisionist ideologies have failed dramatically in today’s world – Iraq is the obvious example. (story and 2 comments and 2 images)

text A Disorderly Retreat: Australian Conservatives on the Back Foot peptide, Monday, Feb 19 2007, 9:45pm
The Australian Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer tonight made his first ’07 appearance on the popular current affairs program, Lateline. Downer, known locally as a gutless, smug, toff, was clearly on the back foot when confronted with the two principal issues that are decimating the conservative government; participation in the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq and the abandonment of the Australian citizen, David Hicks.

Peter Costello image Conservative Lunacy and Public Paralysis nano, Saturday, Feb 17 2007, 3:52pm
The Australian Federal Treasurer, Peter (supercilious prick) Costello today impetuously let one cat out of the (tactics) bag! Responding to a question relating to the economy, Costello took the opportunity to state that “the people wouldn’t trust their mortgages to the opposition party or to the leader of the opposition”. Tired fear tactics aside, Costello’s statement relates directly to the crippling debt the Australian public has been experiencing since the conservatives took office (hint!) The conservatives are the problem not the solution. (story and 1 image)

'I don't believe in compromise': Garrett (?) image Lost Directions budgie, Thursday, Feb 15 2007, 10:00am
The USA is that way! The most servile government in Australian history achieved a new ‘personal best’ in bootlicking today. Yesterday's parliament question time witnessed the Minister of Defence, Brendan (studs) Nelson and the Foreign Minister, Alexander (cream puff) Downer bending over forwards in preparation for Cheney’s visit. Astounding as it may seem to most Australians these two lackeys were attempting to score political points by extolling the virtues of neo-colonial subservience to the United States! Helen Clark image John Howard: Profile of a Coward finch, Tuesday, Feb 13 2007, 11:52am
The Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, has managed to gain some international attention after his hysterical attack on U.S. presidential candidate, Barack Obama. The seasoned Australian politician knowingly stated that a victory for Obama OR the Democrats would be a victory for al-Qaeda, “I mean, if I we're running al-Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and pray as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama but also for the Democrats”. text Australia Day: national Shame and Failure day finch, Thursday, Jan 25 2007, 1:27pm
I had to laugh out loud this tragic ‘Australia’ Day; are we celebrating our total disregard for a national identity by allowing a foreign power to indefinitely torture an Australian citizen, David Hicks? Should we beam with pride at the ‘Australian’ flag, incorporating the pommy Union Jack? Or perhaps we should pay homage to the most cowardly, servile and traitorous Prime Minister in Australian history! Australia Day 2007 will long be remembered as national shame day. A nowhere people celebrating a nowhere nation with the appropriate ‘leader’ who leads his herd of cringing servile nobodies, nowhere! Today we all share in the most pathetic and tragic Australia Day in history, Oi, Oi, Oink!

Alexander Downer: Portrait of a Sycophant image Oz Minister’s Identity Crisis finch, Wednesday, Jan 17 2007, 9:21am
The ‘Australian’ Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer, familiar to the local population as an American apologist, stooge and lackey, appears to have lost every vestige of a national identity as he strained today to defend the illegal detention by the criminal Bush regime of the Australian citizen, David Hicks. Mr. Downer’s muddled and professionally unqualified statements regarding the mental health of David Hicks, after five years detention in Guantanamo Bay concentration camp, only serve to highlight his personal dereliction of duty and his traitorous attitude to a foreign power. text Inanity for Xmas finch, Sunday, Dec 24 2006, 8:48am
The arch-conservative Anglican Dean of Sydney's St. Andrews Cathedral, Phil Jensen, has delivered a Christmas message worthy of the most mindless, inane comment that the infamous neo-con war monger and lunatic Donald “unknown knowns” Rumsfeld could have delivered. The Dean stated that “Christmas is about God giving, that God gave the gift of God and the gift of God, is God," (!) Those Australians who imagined that mindless, unqualified statements only issued from American neo-cons be advised, conservative pro-American Evangelicals are alive and very ‘unwell’ in conservative Anglican Sydney.

text Puppet leadership in Western ‘Democracies’ nano, Tuesday, Dec 12 2006, 8:42am
Corporate power and rulership in western societies is complete, governments either conform to corporate dictates or are quickly replaced by compliant political alternatives. The management of information via the monopolised mass media and the complete domination of the economy maintain and sustain corporate supremacy. The masses suffer increased subjection (debt slavery) and vulnerability (limited options) as a result of decreased representation by governments. Corporate rule has reduced the real status of the public to servility and subservience, not dissimilar to the ancient Roman model of kept house-slaves. The belief that Roman slaves were constantly maltreated is based on erroneous images (whipped galley-slaves) that Hollywood and the entertainment industry have popularised. Ancient Roman slaves lived in basic but tolerable conditions, similar (in relative terms) to the servile masses of today.

Rudd in Parliament image Australian Politics and Corporate Rulership peptide, Sunday, Dec 3 2006, 10:08am
It may be time for a change; the credentials of Kevin Rudd, new leader of the opposition in Australia, certainly indicate that a change of national leadership may be on the horizon. Kevin Rudd, the man from KPMG and DFAT, with the added bonus of strong conservative Christian values, is looking like a prime candidate for change at National level BUT (and it’s a biggie) will the real rulers of Australia, the Macquarie Bank/Group and the huge resource/mining Transnational Corporate sector back the ‘wild parochial boy’ from Queensland in his bid for the top puppet job as Prime Minister? One medium size cauliflower, $3.46, bananas remain at $13/kilo at Coles Meyer supermarkets as of 8/11. Australian food prices at the grass roots Mr. (incompetent economic manager) Howard. John Howard is without doubt Australia’s biggest liar, racist, war criminal and scoundrel Prime Minister; he is also proving to be a thoroughly incompetent economic manager – just across the Tasman bananas remain at $2/kilo. The hard times (water shortages) haven’t hit yet but they soon will; can you imagine Howard’s performance in a real crisis if the above prices are an example of his management in relatively easy times? text Meat Sheik, Anglican paedophilia, and non-regulation Jewish foreskin nano, Sunday, Oct 29 2006, 8:07am
This past week in Australia has been ‘fundamentally’ outstanding; dim-witted fundamentalist religionists vied with each other for top billing in the local media. Never has the nation seen such retarded behaviour from so many diverse religious groups. The prize for fundamentalist imbecile of the week however goes to the Muslim cleric Sheik al-Hilali for his retrogressive reference to women as “uncovered meat”. He unashamedly placed the responsibility for rape and other sexually violent acts onto women; men were exonerated on the basis that “uncovered meat” is sexually provocative! The local media now refers to the cleric as the “Meat Sheik” and continues to sensationalise aspects of the story.

Multi-Kulti Art from Tijuas image Australian 'Public' Broadcaster becomes Government Media Outlet Cleaves Editorial Team, Monday, Oct 16 2006, 9:40am
The Australian Public Broadcaster -- "your ABC" -- has been re-shaped to become a government media platform. The 'new' editorial policy is designed to curb the "perceived" bias in presentation, said Mark Scott, the new managing director.

For a very brief nano-second we all thought that Lateline would forego its role as the Liberal Party's mouthpiece -- but no such luck. (story and 1 image)
