The Measure of Australian Politicians
finch, Wednesday, Jul 8 2009, 1:51pm
It hasn’t yet occurred to the Federal Opposition that their leader, Malcolm Turnbull, has lost ALL credibility and relevance after his monumental failure to oust the sitting twerp PM Kevin Rudd and his Treasurer, Wayne Swan. Attacks based on nothing more often than not, produce nothing for a result; Granny could have told you that – quit while you’re not totally behind, Malcolm! (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Historian says US backed “efficacious terror” in 1965 Indonesian massacre
John Braddock via reed, Wednesday, Jul 8 2009, 8:55am
The United States and British governments, supported by Australia, were deeply complicit in the murder of more than half a million alleged communist sympathisers in the wake of the 1965 Indonesian coup, a prominent historian told an international conference in Singapore last month.

A report on the Oz ABC today proposing the creation of a People’s Bank and recommending a full inquiry into the PRIVATE Banking sector in Australia is not only OVERDUE it is IMPERATIVE if the nation wishes to discard DEBT SLAVERY and reclaim its DEMOCRACY!

Obama: early onset Alzheimer's or a moron in ‘Gorky Park’
dingo, Tuesday, Jul 7 2009, 11:39am
I nearly choked on my coffee perusing the newswire this morning; the offending headline read, “Obama urges Russia not to interfere in neighbouring states!” (Emphasis added). Either ‘Captain Ebony Smooth’ has taken leave of his senses or his handlers are related to Rip Van Winkle! Need I remind banjo-playing, Americans and their tap-dancing black puppet President that AMERICA is the WORLD’S LEADING MEDDLING NATION! How would YOU define the US led bombing campaign on Yugoslavia and the subsequent theft of Sovereign Serbian Territory (Kosovo)? Reducing a single Balkan nation to a number of tiny, powerless, totally dependent, statelettes could not be described as ‘interference’ by any stretch of the imagination, nah! (story and 2 images)

Take a good PATHETIC look at yourself, Australia
yarra, Monday, Jul 6 2009, 12:08am
The cowering, CRINGING, cultural imprint that identifies Australia/ns today probably found its genesis in the brow-beaten, downtrodden, ‘subjected’ Anglo convicts forced onto this off-shore continental jail in the very dim past. The ‘free’ administrative officials required to govern and regulate the oppressed convicts and early settlement found solace in their very British identities -- the ruling elite of the time were constantly at pains to identify with the distant Imperial Crown! Is Lucifer a racist? Go South young man, go South!
Chris McGreal via krill, Saturday, Jul 4 2009, 11:11pm
Occasionally, I shake hands with a Mason and detect that tell-tale grip, thumb on first ‘fuck-knuckle;’ I choose not to respond though I could. Boaz! And for all those racists ‘on the square’ this piece is dedicated to a failing quasi-Jewish, Lucifer-honouring, not so secret, organisation that once ruled most of the world. Today it is a shadow of its former self; however, it struggles to maintain some of those ol’ fashion racist and elitist values. Ed. (story and 1 image)

Pakistanis Reject U.S. 'Aid' Flights
Jeremy Scahill via quill, Saturday, Jul 4 2009, 10:47am
Damn those ungrateful Pakistanis. After U.S. drone attacks killed more than 600 of their people since 2006—most of them civilians—it seems they think they have some right to say they don’t want the U.S. flying its “aid” planes to Swat and other “tribal areas.” The New York Times reports that “the Pakistani authorities have refused to allow American workers or planes to distribute the aid in the camps for displaced people.” The paper reports: (story and 1 comment)

Gender Predispositions and Social Change
talya, Saturday, Jul 4 2009, 2:36am
I was awe-struck by a story on the Oz ABC recently – which barely got a run internationally – describing, by inference, the horrendous social obstacles women face in Afghanistan. However, in order to gain a real perspective on the subject we need to amplify those horrendous conditions ten-fold and then marvel at the remarkable bravery of one lone Afghani woman and member of a corrupt, servile, misogynistic all male Afghani Parliament. The challenges this woman faces daily are rape, assault and assassination; contrast with western domestic ‘crises’ like a faulty vacuum-cleaner or toaster!

Where is Bin Laden?
Washington's Blog via fleet, Friday, Jul 3 2009, 9:49am
Everyone is appropriately outraged that the former head of the CIA unit which hunted Bin Laden for almost a decade - Michael Scheur - told Glenn Beck:
The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States

Newsprint; ‘we’re going well,’ says Murdoch man, Hartigan
quill, Thursday, Jul 2 2009, 1:32am
This past week in Oz could easily be described as surreal. Based on a fraudulent email, the opposition leader, Malcolm Turnbull, launched an exceedingly amateurish, overconfident, FAILED attack on Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Treasurer Wayne Swan -- your longing exceeds your ability, NOVICE! Madoff, aberration or business as usual?
finn, Tuesday, Jun 30 2009, 11:50am
An absurd sentence of 150 years was handed down yesterday to a man with less than 20 years to live; the sentence was intended to demonstrate how a completely corrupt (Bush/Obama) U.S. legal system pretends to serve the people of the USA.
New York Judge, Denny Chin, ‘spiced’ his sentence delivery with emotive accusations like, "extraordinarily evil" and “staggering human toll!” However, no amount of judicial indignation could compensate for the FAILURE of a DYSFUNCTIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEM that allowed a fraud of monumental proportions to occur over a 20 year period! The jailing of one old Jewish fart hardly satisfies victims of a Banking and Financial system designed to enslave the masses and concentrate enormous wealth in the fewest possible hands! 'Government of the Corporations by the Corporations FOR the Corporations' -- that is the hard, cruel REALITY of today, sheeple!
