text Bush facing resistance in NATO expansion goals Associated Press via rialator, Sunday, Mar 30 2008, 7:11am
"I think this NATO summit is basically the 'Goodbye George' summit," said Daniel Hamilton, Director of the Center for Transatlantic Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. "A lot of the energy is looking beyond the administration."

Rudd and Bush -- leading puppets image The Failure of Nations peptide, Saturday, Mar 29 2008, 8:36pm
Democracy is majority rule via elected REPRESENTATION. Democracy only exists in societies where people are able to make INFORMED decisions. What then of societies where governments intentionally obfuscate, withhold information or brazenly LIE to their populations? Clearly whatever these social systems claim to be, they are NOT democracies! (story and 1 image)

Tibetan monk image Tibetan monks (hypocrites) redefine Buddhist pacifism nano, Friday, Mar 28 2008, 7:52pm
In a purely Buddhist sense there are no others, pluralisms, life-death or binaries of any kind; hence there is no need to fight as there is no one to fight and nothing to fight against! What the world is currently witnessing in Tibet is pure unadulterated religious hypocrisy – Buddhist robes and shaven heads do not a Buddhist make! That should now be obvious to even the most dim-witted Hollywood film stars and western space cadets! (story and 2 images)

text U.S. visit to Pakistan shows 'panic' Saeed Shah via rialator, Friday, Mar 28 2008, 8:36am
ISLAMABAD — The visit to Pakistan of top U.S. officials this week was supposed to cement ties with the country's incoming government. Instead, it ended up roiling local sensitivities and inadvertently showing up key policy differences.

text Tibet: tactical destabilisation nano, Thursday, Mar 20 2008, 12:36am
In 1999 the UN Security Council was ignored and America embarked, with its NATO allies, on an illegal bombing campaign of Yugoslavia. That illegal but supremely successful strategy was designed to fragment one nation into numerous powerless states, gain a foothold in the Balkans and establish a permanent presence with the view to securing energy supplies/infrastructure/corridors. The plan sought to override International law and convention, diminish the role of the UN in international affairs and directly challenge Russia and China, as both nations were firm allies of Yugoslavia and perceived to be enemies of the West. Fraud: who, me? image Inverted realities and illogic as warfare pixie, Wednesday, Mar 19 2008, 12:19am
Events this week highlight the madness that currently grips the international community. Many instances of Orwellian ‘double speak’ could be culled from the inane propaganda disseminated by US/NATO forces during their illegal bombing of former Yugoslavia in 1999. Add to that the nonsensical (mad) drivel that has issued from the mouths of American leaders in relation to Iraq and Iran over the past five years and the fictional absurdities (Mad Hatter's tea party) of some English novelists begin to look tame. But events this week pushed the envelope of incredulity to levels that even the most dim-witted, inbred, American rustic would find difficult to bear! (story and 1 image)

text Super Hornet -- super disgrace! barra, Monday, Mar 17 2008, 8:47pm
The only minister in the present Australian Labor government who displayed any integrity or spine has backflipped on the purchase of the Super Hornet jet fighters from America – what a thorough travesty and disgusting reversal! It is a matter of public record that the Super Hornet is inferior to the Jet Fighters purchased by Indonesia from the Russians -- at considerably less cost I would add. (story and 1 comment)

text Germany and Israel form new alliance quin, Saturday, Mar 15 2008, 8:51am
Fresh from its very active role in the destruction of Yugoslavia and its involvement with rebel forces in the Serbian province of Kosovo, Germany now pipes a very familiar tune in the Middle East. In what appears to be a very odd historical twist, fascist Germany now pledges allegiance to Nazi Israel – but is anyone really surprised? (story and 1 comment)

Caught myself roaming the conservative side of my personality one afternoon – confronting the effects of rigorous toilet training is fascinating! The strangest thoughts began to overwhelm me but they were somehow alluring, intoxicating in a distinctively pathological way, so I let them flow – can YOU hear the sound of one jackboot marching? 'Acceptable' collateral damage image Squinting at the Sun gan, Friday, Mar 14 2008, 8:11pm
The efforts of America and its allies to demonise people and nations that assert their sovereignty and rights are often foiled by poignant reminders of reality. Truth jolts us back into stark reality and forces us to face our collective humanity. (story and 1 image)

text Kevin Rudd: ask any prancer! dingo, Thursday, Mar 13 2008, 10:50pm
The new Australian PM is proving himself to be a major letdown, disappointment, non-event; a man of the status quo UNABLE TO HANDLE THE BIG ISSUES! A man defined and managed by big business, especially the financial and mining sectors, the two sectors responsible for wreaking havoc on the economy and environment! (story and 1 comment)

Torturer and Hypocrite image The Dalai Lama’s religious hypocrisy equals the best of the West finch, Monday, Mar 10 2008, 9:45am
Fresh from receiving honours and a gold medal from the world’s most brazen mass murderer and torturer, George W Bush, the exiled Dalai Lama of Tibet has begun another round of China-bashing, which he obviously timed for the approaching Beijing Olympics. Why they call this man a religious leader is beyond rational comprehension. The Dalai Lama today is 100% political and could care less which devil he sleeps with in order to achieve his goals! Clinton and Obama image The two winners of the 2008 presidential election: fear and war Larry Chin via reed, Friday, Mar 7 2008, 7:09am
The 2008 US presidential charade has already been decided. Come November, the next White House occupant (who will be installed via political malfeasance, computer vote theft and other election “irregularities”) will be the puppet who proves to be the most effective in echoing Bush-Cheney’s “war on terrorism” lies, and expanding the Bush-Cheney “national security” agenda. Howard and Rudd, the rodent and the flea! image Of Fleas and Rodents dingo, Thursday, Mar 6 2008, 5:06am
Hard reality hasn’t deterred our lying little rodent, John Howard. Addressing a conservative ‘think tank’ in Washington Howard slammed the Rudd government for reversing his economic policies and labour ‘reforms.’ The ‘small matter’ of the largest foreign debt in Australia’s history -- incurred under Howard and Costello -- was conveniently ignored by our lying rodent, Johnny. Here’s a taste of REALITY Mr Howard – $610 BILLION hangs over the head of the nation like a guillotine thanks to you and Costello! Who do you trust, indeed, you reprehensible LIAR! Kevin Rudd -- do something! image Rudd government sets new low barra, Tuesday, Mar 4 2008, 7:27pm
Previous Oz governments defined themselves with action – sometimes to the detriment of the nation but they all had a go!

The previous PM, has earned his place in Oz history for economic irresponsibility; the national debt is now running at a staggering $610 billion; cowardice, for his servility to the USA; racism, an antiquated colonial tradition; and criminal deceit, for dragging the nation into an illegal, war/holocaust in Iraq! It is clear from the few statements made by the now conscious Ramos-Horta that he either has no recollection (prolonged induced coma) of events surrounding his shooting or he has been fed erroneous information. The possibility he has been coerced also remains high. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

text Thoroughly incompetent Oz politicians warring over defence contracts dingo, Tuesday, Feb 26 2008, 10:28am
There is an old saying familiar to most cultures, “shit floats,” and it’s a whopping great turd that has hit the surface in relation to Australia’s defence spending.

The current minister of defence, Joel Fitzgibbon, has rightly opened the ‘book’ on the incompetence of the previous conservative government’s politically driven, as opposed to practical, defence purchases.

ASIO director, Paul 'chimp' O'Sullivan image ASIO recruitment ‘drive’ peptide, Monday, Feb 25 2008, 10:35am
I was recently informed – I somehow missed the original release -- that Australia’s spook agency is recruiting. Everything immediately fell into place when I saw the salary range for the position of “ASIO Officer grade 3,” which was unashamedly advertised in the local primate press as ranging from $49,280 – $53,100 (plus superannuation and shift allowances) wow! And we wondered why the nation has gone to wrack and ruin. (story and 2 images)

Hillary Clinton image The Audacity of Hopelessness Frank Rich via reed, Sunday, Feb 24 2008, 11:24am
When people one day look back at the remarkable implosion of the Hillary Clinton campaign, they may notice that it both began and ended in the long dark shadow of Iraq. It’s not just that her candidacy’s central premise — the priceless value of “experience” — was fatally poisoned from the start by her still ill-explained vote to authorize the fiasco. Senator Clinton then compounded that 2002 misjudgment by pursuing a 2008 campaign strategy that uncannily mimicked the disastrous Bush Iraq war plan. After promising a cakewalk to the nomination — “It will be me,” Mrs. Clinton told Katie Couric in November — she was routed by an insurgency. (story and 1 image)
