But to return to the causative factors: Australia’s hollow PM, Kevin Rudd, was in his element yesterday performing before the media at one of the nation’s most enduring and FORMATIVE commemorative ceremonies – ANZAC day.

Ramos-Horta interviewed on ABC

An Australian current affairs program, ‘Lateline,’ featured an interview with the convalescing President of Timor-Leste last night. However, very little in the way of new information was forthcoming. Either the President, Jose Ramos-Horta, was intentionally withholding information or he has little new knowledge to offer regarding the attempt on his life.

Super Hornet -- super disgrace!

The only minister in the present Australian Labor government who displayed any integrity or spine has backflipped on the purchase of the Super Hornet jet fighters from America – what a thorough travesty and disgusting reversal! It is a matter of public record that the Super Hornet is inferior to the Jet Fighters purchased by Indonesia from the Russians -- at considerably less cost I would add. (story and 1 comment)

The long overdue admission of wrongs perpetrated against Australia’s indigenous people was finally acknowledged today in the form of a national apology delivered to the Aboriginal people by the Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd. The RACIST, criminal and socially sick conservative ideology that resulted in thousands of Aboriginal children being forcibly removed from their mothers’ arms has been clearly condemned today by a national act of contrition. History notes the glaring absence of the former conservative, RACIST, Prime Minister, John Howard, from today's ceremony!
