Masturbation and Servility prevent Swine Flu ... Australia is saved!
w. king, Thursday, Apr 30 2009, 11:05pm
[Hmm ... a little more substance, please. Ed]
Try focusing on this REALITY -- The 'new' U.S. Administration refuses to pursue TORTURERS and those responsible for the deaths of millions of INNOCENT civilians in Indo-China and Iraq. By any definition of the word, the USA is the world's leading TERRORIST State!
Stick that in your Swine Flu pipe and smoke it!

Enraged About Corporate Greed? Kidnap Your Boss
Christopher Ketcham via budgie, Thursday, Apr 30 2009, 10:15pm
In answer to their own economic crisis, the French have taken up "bossnapping."
Here's how it works: An executive of a company, perhaps the CEO, stands before a group of his employees, puts his hands together, sighs, and then, with regret as smooth as brie, explains the fact that downsizing is needed to meet the exigencies of economic crisis (read: the preservation of profits in downturn).

Rogue nations and poisonous ideologies: we know what we must do!
Captain, Wednesday, Apr 29 2009, 11:10pm
Comrades, brothers and sisters and all thinking people of the world – WE are ONE!
However, it is clear we constitute a minority, notwithstanding an extremely capable minority of highly dedicated, passionate, motivated and skilled people of conscience and moral fibre. We continue to work together in communities, small groups and individually against overwhelming odds and forces that would lay waste to the entire world for the sake of singular control, avaricious gain and a host of other perversities.
WE are CALLED! (story and 4 comments and 1 image)

Washout USA!
nano, Tuesday, Apr 28 2009, 9:19pm
Today’s new torture tolerant, civilian holocaust, America, now ranks with the world’s most obscenely inhuman, criminal regimes. Laotian and Cambodian children continue to die from the millions of tons of unexploded ordnance ILLEGALLY DROPPED in their respective nations during the Vietnam war – no attempt has been made by Christian (hypocritical) America to ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY and assist -- bombed into impoverishment -- nations in the removal of unexploded ordnance. The world capital of DENIAL is loath to face itself and its true murdering, criminal nature! (story and 2 comments)

Those who cried “terrorism” (9/11-Anthrax) are now crying Swine Flu!
finn, Monday, Apr 27 2009, 11:18am
Memories of arch-criminal, Donald Rumsfeld, profiteering on “Tamiflu” immediately come to mind amidst the Swine Flu hysteria currently sweeping the globe – you will note in exactly the same mass-media-driven way as did the (Tamiflu-selling) NON-EVENT, bird flu hysteria! (story and 1 comment)

How easily are the masses duped?
finch, Sunday, Apr 26 2009, 2:06am
Obama sees a “glimmer of hope” in the toilet-bowl economy – LIE! But we are expected to believe that codswallop and that things (invasive wars and financial blowout) are on the improve when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. The LIES emanating from the White House today are indistinguishable from those of the previous regime’s harlequin team, Cheney and Rice, only this time the Secretary of State is white! Avoid it [torture] like the plague!
major mitchell, Thursday, Apr 23 2009, 9:32am
Report it briefly but do not pursue the issue or dwell on it in any way; such are the policy directives from the West’s mass media outlets. The public must not be allowed to dwell on Obama’s MASSIVE FAILURE to redeem the Nation and the Presidency from its sordid and criminal (very recent) past. (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

Disadvantage vs Advantage
Captain, Tuesday, Apr 21 2009, 9:56pm
All political strategists know that when disadvantage outweighs advantage it becomes IMPERATIVE to alter course or change policy. In the case of boy president, Obama, the real ruling executive has a MAJOR problem. Obama’s failure to pursue TORTURE charges – a UNIVERSALLY DESPISED crime – is threatening to subvert what remains of any influence or credibility the U.S. may have in the world today. It simply is IMPOSSIBLE to IGNORE or DENY TORTURE! Yet former CIA chiefs and a former VP, (guess who?) have publicly extolled the ‘virtues’ of torture – ABSOLUTE LUNACY! The pure dissociated insanity of it all and the ensuing negative impact are creating ‘unhelpful’ circumstances for the USA – understatement of the century! (story and 1 comment)

Melbourne hosts Cult Conman
numbat, Monday, Apr 20 2009, 11:59am
There should be a law against stupidity but then America would be a prison nation – it does in fact have the largest prison population in the world! I raise this issue prior to launching into a travelling con artist, known as David Icke. This man subscribes to the theory that lizard people rule the world! If you think that is crazy what would you think of people that actually pay to hear this con artist speak? We believe a post-'lecture' DVD pack will soon be available for a mere $50 -- who needs the Golden Fleece when it is easier to fleece the dumb Australian public? ‘There’s one born every minute’ or my favourite quote for these occasions; “Never underestimate the power of human stupidity” – Robert Heinlein. Tamil civilians slaughtered as army shells 'no-fire zone'
Gethin Chamberlain via fleet, Sunday, Apr 19 2009, 6:59am
[De-sensitisation to the suffering of others comes, as does everything, at a price. Callousness rots our very soul; we lose a little bit of what makes life worth living each time we ignore the plight of our fellow human beings. Have you noticed how Western populations long for an end to their misery?

“They [American torturers] will not be subject to prosecution”
nano, Thursday, Apr 16 2009, 11:11pm
Torture is acceptable and known torturers are protected in the USA; that is the very clear message delivered to the world by boy ‘president,’ Barack Obama! If ever there was a time to fear history that time is now, you pathetic, little, no account, slave! Even the bleeding ‘progressive’ hearts have nothing to run with now! Continuity we can believe in; slave status CONFIRMED; full steam ahead with the status quo and ‘it’s all over now, star-spangled blue!’ [THE CONSTITUTION MUST PREVAIL; CAPABLE PEOPLE ARE AUTOMATICALLY (LEGALLY) COMMISSIONED TO SAVE THE NATION! Be advised you scurrilous criminals, you are KNOWN and you are ACCESSIBLE! JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL; you can bet your vile lives on that!] (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Federal Authority Over the Internet? The Cybersecurity Act of 2009
Jennifer Granick via Kismo, Wednesday, Apr 15 2009, 10:50am
There's a new bill working its way through Congress that is cause for some alarm: the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, introduced by Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME). The bill as it exists now risks giving the federal government unprecedented power over the Internet without necessarily improving security in the ways that matter most. It should be opposed or radically amended.
