Orwell That Ends Well
Randall Amster via fleet, Wednesday, Sep 8 2010, 6:58am
In just the past week, a friend lost his cellphone, and another was robbed. One fell asleep in the bathtub, and another visited her old elementary school. A number had interesting fare for dinner. Some liked the weather, others lamented it. One notable presence in particular diligently posted her whereabouts at all times. Pretty typical stuff actually, and almost none of it interesting in the least. (story and 1 comment)

'Perception Management' and Information Warfare
via fleet, Friday, Aug 27 2010, 7:58pm
The following video documentary exposes the mass media as an orchestrated, managed, propaganda machine -- in other words it has become a thoroughly corrupted medium serving a tiny minority that clearly does not have the best interests of society at heart.
Interviews with highly respected academics and analysts are featured in the doco; they include such luminaries as Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and Michael Parenti.
The video is a balanced, in depth historical view of the forces that shaped the mass media into what it is today -- it is highly recommended viewing.

WikiLeaks: CIA as "exporter of terrorism"
Ellen Nakashima via fleet, Wednesday, Aug 25 2010, 8:46pm
The United States has long been an exporter of terrorism, according to a secret CIA analysis released Wednesday by the Web site WikiLeaks. And if that phenomenon were to become a widely held perception, the analysis said, it could damage relations with foreign allies and dampen their willingness to cooperate in "extrajudicial" activities, such as the rendition and interrogation of terrorism suspects. Deconstructing Propaganda 101
nano, Monday, Aug 16 2010, 10:28am
Former Oz PM, Paul ‘fingers’ Keating, once stated that when he wished to distract the public and the media he would throw the media hounds (dogs) a ‘bloodied piece of (sensational) meat’ -- spoken like a true politician and criminal arsehole. (story and 2 comments)

The Politics of Oz Internet Censorship
Kismo, Thursday, Aug 5 2010, 10:46pm
Even demented Oz analysts and commentators (mostly employed by the mass media) would have advised that imposing a retrogressive 50’s policy in 21st century Australia -- mandatory information censorship -- would be suicidal for any political party stupid enough to attempt to implement it. But that FACT was and REMAINS lost on the incumbent, inept, policy failed, Labor Party.

American journos defend criminal Government NOT Democracy

Inside The US/NATO Military Industrial Media Empire
Peter Phillips via stan, Sunday, Jul 4 2010, 7:51pm
We face what appears to be a military industrial media empire so powerful and complex that truth is mostly absent or reported in disconnected segments with little historical context. A case in point: The London Times reported on June 5, 2010, that American troops are now operating in 75 countries. Has President Obama secretly sanctioned a huge increase in the number of US Special Forces carrying out search-and-destroy missions against al-Qaeda around the world? If so, this increase is far in excess of special-forces operations under the Bush administration and reflects how aggressively Obama is pursuing al-Qaeda behind his public rhetoric of global engagement and diplomacy. Somehow this information didn’t make it into the US media.

The Secret State's Mad Scheme to Control the Internet
Tom Burghardt via Kismo, Sunday, Jun 27 2010, 9:13pm
Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz once famously wrote that "war is the continuation of politics by other means." A century later, radical French philosopher Michel Foucault turned Clausewitz on his head and declared that "politics is the continuation of war by other means." In our topsy-turvy world where truth and lies coexist equally and sociopathic business elites reign supreme, it would hardly be a stretch to theorize that cyber war is the continuation of parapolitical crime by other means.

By Accident or Design it remains Counter Intelligence
stan, Wednesday, May 12 2010, 8:40am
A vid is doing the rounds on Corporate GOOGLE’S censored Youtube, think about that for a minute! It depicts some fat yank claiming to be a former intelligence agent, blah, blah. Well, they’re a 'dime a dozen' (as the yanks say) over there. Everything this clown is saying is passé, years if not decades old strategies. For the PAST five or more years the hubs have been diligently doing everything this person wants us to do NOW – get it? His discourse is regressive/retrograde, it's designed to reverse current EFFECTIVE trends, which are devastating the criminals in power!

The Appalling Incompetence of Rudd and Conroy
Kismo, Tuesday, May 4 2010, 8:51am
Rudd’s communications minister Stephen Conroy was forced to admit, in Parliament, that the $24 (wasted) million, ISP filter plan could easily and LEGALLY be circumvented. Conroy admitted that circumvention techniques – VPN and Proxy server methods -- had been demonstrated to him personally at Enex Testlab in Melbourne. Conroy confirmed that no legal measures would be applied to ISPs to prohibit the use of the above circumvention methods – so what’s the point of the expensive (now failed) filter plan I hear you say? Well, ask the most policy failed, financially wasteful PM we’ve ever had, Kevin ‘hair dryer’ Rudd. (story and 1 image)

American ‘know-how:’ not worth a ‘pinch of shit!’
korel, Wednesday, Apr 14 2010, 10:31pm
It is no secret this site – and sister sites throughout the world -- vigorously oppose state terrorism and unrepresentative, fraudulent democracy – hence we oppose the FLAGRANTLY criminal USA and its allies! We shout our condemnation from the rooftops, in the streets we OPENLY and FREELY distribute CDs, flyers, every form of media and written hard copy imaginable and of course we SATURATE the digital world with accurate information about a NATION gone ROGUE and its criminal activities. And for all this OVERT activity over nearly a decade, the US and their (tenth-rate) geniuses/agents and a host of other imbeciles from associated criminal organisations, have failed to apprehend ONE of us -- YES, I mean ‘1’ – ROFLMFAO!

UK Guardian Censors Truth regarding Iraq Invasion
quill, Sunday, Apr 4 2010, 8:32pm
In a published interview with the UK Guardian, Mohammed ElBaradei, Nobel Peace Prize winner and former head of the IAEA, levelled a strong, unambiguous criticism at those responsible for the illegal invasion of Iraq. ElBaradeie, cited WMD as a fabricated excuse for an illegal invasion and plainly stated that “regime change,” is not condoned under ANY international law! To date, Mohammed ElBaradei, is the highest ranking official to formally state that responsibility for the civilian holocaust in Iraq – OVER ONE MILLION INNOCENT CIVILIANS DEAD – rests with the US and its allies.
