In defence of Matthew Johns

I have been waiting patiently for a commentator, journalist or academic to write a rebuttal to the prurient media frenzy surrounding a top grade Aussie footballer’s sexual misadventures, subsequent SCAPEGOATING and social crucifixion by the ‘dingo ate my baby,’ Oz mass media! However, not unexpectedly, NONE have been forthcoming – not surprising, as sensationalism replaced integrity in Oz journalism decades past!

The deafening silence from a host of other professionals also indicates a decaying, subservient, contractive culture!

Prior to hanging the nation’s disgusting laundry up for the world to see and no doubt mock with well deserved disdain, a brief historical note to place the current, cowardly situation in context. I hope all you indignant Aussie shits choke on your unfounded self-righteousness!

At the present time it’s a nation of cowards against ONE very foolish but nevertheless thoroughly traumatised man – but does the punishment fit the offence fellow citizens, not by any stretch of the penal or any other social code?

This writer is one Australian that wouldn’t piss on the colonial cringe mentality that occasionally rears its ugly head as the John Howard inspired Cronulla race riots, or the parochialism and cowardice of the serving philistine PM, Kevin ‘hair dryer’ Rudd! Take note of your leaders Oz, they speak volumes about YOU and the social decay of the nation! [Where have all the leaders gone?]

I have been observing Oz culture tail-spinning ever since the CIA, murdered Holt and crucified Whitlam; it’s been a steady slide into mental subservience and colonialist slavery (to America) ever since. And as every specialist knows, cowardly, slave-master behaviours tend to become internalised, that is, a persecuted or brutalised person tends to persecute or brutalise others down the line. This occurs in micro and macro social situations.

What do we witness today, an ENTIRE NATION either condemning or gloating over the misfortune of ONE MAN who has committed no crime! I place this indiscretion in a context of TORTURE, MURDER AND MAYHEM COMMITTED DAILY BY AMERICA and its allies, you mindless HYPOCRITES!

The issue relates to a 2002 event involving former Cronulla League star, Matthew Johns, some members of his team and a Kiwi girl’s need to 'turn it on' for the boys, regardless of her story or regrets seven years later! We are still able to hear her gleefully urging the boys on with such niceties as, “come on [who’s next?] fuck me!” Every woman can relate to that foolish girl’s exploits/antics/NEEDS without the need for me to refer to primate behaviour, female sexual fantasies and the phenomenon of the ‘gang bang’ – every Oz suburb had at least two or three!

So let’s not get too sanctimonious or hypocritical or I might just reveal that every gang-bang in my time was Roman Catholic – perhaps it had something to do with the unnatural, perverted focus the Church placed on the genitals or sex in general!

The human species carries with it REAL (not superimposed) behaviours from our social/biological past; males in combat and female primates vying for the sexual attention (genes) of dominant victors – ample studies exist in all university libraries for those that doubt the veracity of the above statement; furthermore these behaviours are only moderately disguised today in most social situations – don’t we all know it?

Need we return to the hypocrisy and clandestine debauchery of the Victorian era or should we accept modern realities like mature AND WORLDLY adults?

One American FEMALE journalist (Maureen Dowd) recently referred to the need for every woman to get in touch with her “inner slut!” An amusing and accurate statement! It seems a predisposition exists for such proclivities as gang-banging in women and perhaps even combative/competitive sport in men. The shock of it all!

I am in no way rushing to the defence of foolish footballers or gang banging women, Pope Benedict, please forgive me and all the masturbating, paedophile priests in your HYPOCRITICAL organisation!

Surely it’s time Australia grew up! Every other sporting nation goes to lengths to protect its highly priced sports figures by ARRANGING recreational and/or other events with professionals, hostesses and various farm animals!

GROW UP Oz, your prurience and hypocrisy are showing, again!

FOR FUCK’S SAKE – GET OVER IT!

As for you, Phil Gould, put your hanky away; did they cry at Long Tan or Gallipoli? Do as Australian culture ONCE demanded, FIGHT for what is right and NEVER DENY ANY AUSSIE A FAIR GO! The man has more than paid for his indiscretion; and the woman ought to be satisfied. If additional help is required I recommended the Catholic Church, they have hundreds of years of mangled sexuality to utilise as a measure of 'normal' activity – but I do advise leaving young children at home!
