Madoff, aberration or business as usual?
finn, Tuesday, Jun 30 2009, 11:50am
An absurd sentence of 150 years was handed down yesterday to a man with less than 20 years to live; the sentence was intended to demonstrate how a completely corrupt (Bush/Obama) U.S. legal system pretends to serve the people of the USA.
New York Judge, Denny Chin, ‘spiced’ his sentence delivery with emotive accusations like, "extraordinarily evil" and “staggering human toll!” However, no amount of judicial indignation could compensate for the FAILURE of a DYSFUNCTIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEM that allowed a fraud of monumental proportions to occur over a 20 year period! The jailing of one old Jewish fart hardly satisfies victims of a Banking and Financial system designed to enslave the masses and concentrate enormous wealth in the fewest possible hands! White House Is Drafting Executive Order to Allow Indefinite Detention
Dafna Linzer and Peter Finn via gan, Sunday, Jun 28 2009, 5:52am
The Obama administration, fearing a battle with Congress that could stall plans to close Guantanamo, is drafting an executive order that would reassert presidential authority to incarcerate suspected terrorists indefinitely, according to three senior government officials with knowledge of White House deliberations. BALIBO: the enduring FAILURE of spineless Australia
Sarah Collerton via rialator, Monday, Jun 22 2009, 8:55pm
The Australian journalist who broke the story of the Balibo Five is disappointed his own government has failed to act over the deaths of the journalists.
[Successive governments since Whitlam have failed to pursue this now PROVEN case of murder. FIVE unarmed Australian citizens were slaughtered by Indonesian special forces in East Timor in 1975. To this day that crime remains the clearest indication of Australia's TRUE COWARDLY character. NO VALID reasons, political or otherwise, exist that would prevent bringing the culpable to trial yet our internationally humiliated servile show pony, PM, Kevin 'custard face' Rudd, displays only avoidance, RETICENCE, COWARDICE, TIMIDITY and FEAR! And YES, it is true that national leaders reflect the national character; take a long, hard, look at yourselves Australia. A land of CRINGING, xenophobic, racist, COWARDS! Incompetent, COWARDLY, RACIST, Oz police LIE to avoid culpability
barra, Wednesday, Jun 17 2009, 11:29pm
It has emerged in the bright light of day that Queensland POLICE LIED to avoid responsibility for the brazen MURDER, with RACIST undertones, of ethnic Australian “Antonio Galeano” who died after receiving twenty eight (28) bursts from a POLICE TASER – a far cry from the three (3) bursts police originally claimed they inflicted! CORRUPTION is complete when crimes are offered as justifications
fish, Sunday, Jun 14 2009, 2:03am
AMERICA, The world’s leading civilian killing nation, recently took the (fateful) plunge into pure sociopathology by attempting to use a crime as an argument to justify the crime itself! In this instance the case relates to TORTURE, which remains one of the most heinous and abhorrent crimes known to civilised society! A watershed moment in the continuing decline and (now certain) future collapse of the USA has occurred!

Nothing personal Fitzy, but you were sloppy; the idea for a front bencher is not getting caught! We’re gonna miss you, mate. You were so handsome in your blue flak jacket while ‘posing’ as defence minister; a much better presentation than that SERVILE twerp from QLD POSING as a Prime Minister! Every move he makes is dictated to him by US Bankers, Murdoch and Transnational mining companies – that’s democracy in action; representation by MINORITY vested interests. (story and 1 image)

An Australian [Racist] Story
peptide, Wednesday, May 27 2009, 9:51pm
Due to the increased number of students and immigrants to Australia from the Indian subcontinent and the (related) increase in racist attacks on Indians and Bangladeshis, senior police/government officials have been forced to fly to the subcontinent and deliver lectures on the best ways to avoid racist attacks in Australia! One wonders why prospective students and others coming to this Johnny Howard-revived, RACIST, xenophobic, parochial BACKWATER do not reconsider their options. It is clear by the approach the authorities are taking that racism is tolerated as a cultural characteristic! Australia is located at the ‘bottom of the world’ in more ways than one it would seem! SHAME on you and your cowardly, xenophobic, racist population, Australia! (story and 2 images)

North Korea nuclear test: 'reality pill' required
yarra, Tuesday, May 26 2009, 10:50pm
As usual the U.S. disinfo-misinfo MYTH machine swung into full action after the recent North Korean nuclear test. The US immediately condemned the T-E-S-T stating that it was in flagrant violation of International Law – you know, that’s the ‘LAW’ the U.S. has flouted for the past decade! Over one million civilians killed directly or indirectly as a result of US MILITARY adventures in Iraq alone! Hundreds more INNOCENT civilians killed by DRONE ATTACKS in Central and South Asia and of course the ACTION that started it all, the U.S. led Balkan intervention and THEFT of European SOVEREIGN territory! That’s ‘observing’ International Law for ya! [God forbid the mention of TORTURE!] (story and 1 comment)

America's Nightmare: The Obama Dystopia
Andrew Hughes via rialator, Saturday, May 23 2009, 10:02pm
After 8 years of the Bush-Cheney nightmare during which we saw the wanton destruction of Afghanistan and Iraq, the cynical negation of centuries of Law designed to protect the most basic human rights and a foreign policy worthy of Genghis Khan, there came along the "Great Black Hope" in the persona of Barack Obama. The collective world consciousness turned uncritically to what was presented as a new era for peace, change and trust in Government. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Law abiding nation? Sure we are!
Prof James Petras via zed, Sunday, May 17 2009, 10:23pm
“The Deltas are psychos…You have to be a certified psychopath to join the Delta Force…”, a US Army colonel from Fort Bragg once told me back in the 1980’s. Now President Obama has elevated the most notorious of the psychopaths, General Stanley McChrystal, to head the US and NATO military command in Afghanistan. McChrystal’s rise to leadership is marked by his central role in directing special operations teams engaged in extrajudicial assassinations, systematic torture, bombing of civilian communities and search and destroy missions. He is the very embodiment of the brutality and gore that accompanies military-driven empire building. Between September 2003 and August 2008, McChrystal directed the Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations (JSO) Command which operates special teams in overseas assassinations. The nation owes you a jail sentence, Keelty

Perhaps it was his gross PUBLIC, “well planned event,” blunders that forced his EARLY retirement, or the early onset of alcohol induced dementia that became an embarrassment to the show pony government of Kevin ‘custard face’ Rudd that propelled Keelty out the door, we can only make extremely accurate assumptions! Torture argument clarified
fish, Sunday, May 3 2009, 10:45pm
Torture invariably produces results that torturers wish to hear. The best source for verification is the Catholic Inquisition. Almost all the victims tortured by the Catholic Church “confessed” to “cohabitation with the devil” and were subsequently executed by the Church. The Church’s political interests were served by a TERROR CAMPAIGN overseen by sexually perverse, sadistic, priests administering torture to numerous innocent women and some men over a period of hundreds of years. Today we see the absurdity of those ‘confessions,’ nevertheless, at the time such absurdities were ‘realities!’ TORTURE INVARIABLY PRODUCES EXACTLY WHAT THE TORTURERS WISH TO HEAR – sex with the devil yesterday, 9/11 today! Melbourne hosts Cult Conman
numbat, Monday, Apr 20 2009, 11:59am
There should be a law against stupidity but then America would be a prison nation – it does in fact have the largest prison population in the world! I raise this issue prior to launching into a travelling con artist, known as David Icke. This man subscribes to the theory that lizard people rule the world! If you think that is crazy what would you think of people that actually pay to hear this con artist speak? We believe a post-'lecture' DVD pack will soon be available for a mere $50 -- who needs the Golden Fleece when it is easier to fleece the dumb Australian public? ‘There’s one born every minute’ or my favourite quote for these occasions; “Never underestimate the power of human stupidity” – Robert Heinlein. “They [American torturers] will not be subject to prosecution”
nano, Thursday, Apr 16 2009, 11:11pm
Torture is acceptable and known torturers are protected in the USA; that is the very clear message delivered to the world by boy ‘president,’ Barack Obama! If ever there was a time to fear history that time is now, you pathetic, little, no account, slave! Even the bleeding ‘progressive’ hearts have nothing to run with now! Continuity we can believe in; slave status CONFIRMED; full steam ahead with the status quo and ‘it’s all over now, star-spangled blue!’ [THE CONSTITUTION MUST PREVAIL; CAPABLE PEOPLE ARE AUTOMATICALLY (LEGALLY) COMMISSIONED TO SAVE THE NATION! Be advised you scurrilous criminals, you are KNOWN and you are ACCESSIBLE! JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL; you can bet your vile lives on that!] (story and 1 comment and 1 image)
