In December of ’04 a small group of poets, philosophers, linguists, historians, meditation/yoga experts, mathematicians and computer hackers, came together to work on a revolutionary new project. The radical nature of the project attracted sneers and condemnation from many at the time. Nevertheless, it was eventually approved, funded and given external assistance whenever the group required. The US dollar is no longer Russia’s basic reserve currency. The euro-based share of reserve assets of Russia’s Central Bank increased to 47.5 percent as of January 1, 2009 and exceeded the investments in dollar assets, which made up 41.5 percent, the Vedomosti newspaper reported. What do you suppose it is like to be elected president of the United States only to find that your power is restricted to the service of powerful interest groups?
A president who does a good job for the ruling interest groups is paid off with remunerative corporate directorships, outrageous speaking fees, and a lucrative book contract. If he is young when he assumes office, like Bill Clinton and Obama, it means a long life of luxurious leisure. international /

It wasn’t too long ago a disillusioned Australian nation elected a new leader with the hope the new leader would represent the electorate NOT the elites the previous PM served! However, it soon became apparent the new leader, Kevin 07, was just another servile lackey walking in the subservient footsteps of the previous leader, John Howard.
