The Australian PM, Kevin ‘CENSORSHIP’ Rudd, has been rightly accused of philistinism by analysts, commentators and Australian artists. While in Adelaide the PM managed to avoid every major cultural event for which the city is known. For those not familiar with the term, wiki defines a Philistine as ‘a person that despises, undervalues or is unable to appreciate Art, Beauty, Intellectual Content, the Abstract, and Spiritual/Inspirational realities. Philistines are also said to be materialistic, conservative and favour convention.’ It is hardly surprising that a parochial bureaucrat from Pauline Hanson’s State of Queensland is a narrow minded materialist! Put in plain language Rudd is a lacklustre bureaucrat that lacks creativity, style, imagination, flair, and VISION -- don't we know it!
supercilious dork, Kevin 'yes Rupert' Rudd
Are Aussies surprised that Rudd lacks all the qualities of a TRUE LEADER but displays instead the characteristics of a subservient, LACKEY?
This is the man who supports Murdoch's Internet CENSORSHIP policy, is unable to appreciate the difference between pornography and photographic art, happily supports America’s criminal, civilian killing wars while he pretends to be a Christian and allows Corporatists to rape and scar the land and exploit the people! However, his latest efforts are truly stunning.
With total disregard for proper procedural (safety) guidelines, Rudd has introduced hazardous full-body X-ray scanners at Oz airports, because WASHINGTON has a security problem that it begged for by waging illegal wars and murdering countless civilians! And last but far from least, is Rudd's recent decision to lift the ban on the importation of 'mad cow' beef into Australia! Importing mad cow beef to beef EXPORTING Australia and intentionally corrupting our clean beef export market -- notwithstanding the risk to public health -- is nothing short of treasonous! But should we really expect any different from a 'BOUGHT,' pen-pushing, dull, servile bureaucrat?
While the majority of apathetic Australians take all of Rudd’s policy decisions intra-anally, a growing number of locals are seriously pissed off at this non-representative 'leader' who favours the interests of foreign powers above his own nation AND PEOPLE! A quote from an American laissez-faire capitalist would be appropriate; Milton Friedman, once said 'there is no such thing as a free lunch,' in other words there is a cost to everything!
