Dedicated to a treeless Australia -- eat pulp not seafood! image Dying embers Kingfisher, Thursday, Oct 4 2007, 12:03pm
The Howard racist government has plainly lost the plot as is clearly evident in the announcements and statements of Immigration Minister, Kevin ‘no Africans here’ Andrews and Howard enforcer, Bill ‘yellow peril’ Heffernan. But the overt racism of these two ideological dinosaurs has not delivered the final deathblow to the Howard antiquated government. That dubious honour goes to Malcolm ‘rice balls’ Turnbull, who has so ‘expertly’ committed personal political suicide (over his handling of the red-hot Gunns, pulp mill issue) the flow-over effect threatens to drag his party under with him! For the want of a Tasmanian marginal seat the whole party was lost -- and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bunch of incompetent cowards. (story and 2 images)

text Loaded Language and Loaded Guns Charles Sullivan via rialator, Wednesday, Oct 3 2007, 10:33pm
One can no longer understand US governmental policy on the basis of conventional language or traditional wisdom. Language itself and its long-established meanings were long ago twisted and distorted in order to deceive the people. Now war is peace and terror and occupation is liberation. In order to make sense of what is happening, it is important to understand everything within the context of a specific economic philosophy, and the distorted capitalist system that spawned it.

Is colour required? image The Confetti Elections of Modern Democracies barra, Tuesday, Oct 2 2007, 1:32pm
Crucial issues affecting national viability/welfare are always sacrificed in favour of spin, propaganda and beat-ups during the ‘free and fair’ elections of Western democracies. The idiotic attempts of highly paid consultants/propagandists to snatch victory with tinsel tricks have not only become counter-productive but are now threatening national viability/security. TODAY, THE FUTURE VIABILITY OF NATIONS IS AT STAKE! Allow that FACT/REALITY to sink into the waffle of the spin-soaked minds of the public! (story and 1 image)

BHP plundering our water resources image Oz Leadership Disgrace finch, Sunday, Sep 30 2007, 1:37pm
The constantly deceived, insular, myopic, parochial Australian population cannot be held entirely responsible for living in a dream world regarding their reputation in the world today. Colonialist, racist, pea-hearted, scurrying little rodent coward leaders earn reputations for us all whether we like it or not! These reputations are difficult to overcome, it took John Howard and the CONSERVATIVES who support him, 11 years to drag our good name into the racist, cowardly, cringing, dependent gutter, and it will take some time to regain our former status in the world. BHPBilliton plundering (and polluting) Oz image Democracy, my arse! Kit, Friday, Sep 28 2007, 2:26pm
Consider this, you duped, deluded, dunces! Oz has a population of 20 million yet the government has spent (since ’96) 1.5 BILLION of OUR taxpayers dollars on ADVERTISING alone – specifically for purposes of maintaining their hold on POWER! This situation raises many questions regarding the ‘free and fair’ society in which we live, not least the FARCE that democracy has become in Australia. How is it fair if the costs of informing/reaching the people amount to the above obscene figure – who is able to afford these sums? Of course the incumbent government by taxing us into oblivion; however, outside interests (that control our ‘democracy’) are easily able to afford these sums. The interests to which I refer are known to us all, the TAX MINIMISING Super Corporations plundering our resources and boasting profits of tens of billions per year, while returning virtually nothing to our society. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad image Ahmadinejad and Rice contest title for World’s most absurd Liar/Denier finch, Tuesday, Sep 25 2007, 1:46pm
[Jewish] Holocaust denier, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Iraq holocaust denier, Condoleezza Rice, exchanged accusations and claims this week in what appeared to be the world championship of reality denial. The extermination of approximately six million Jews during the Nazi holocaust is based on historical evidence or the record. The record can be tested for inaccuracies but denying the Jewish holocaust labels the denier not only a clown and idiot but divorced from reality. It would be extremely difficult to locate a Statesman or woman more bereft than Ahmadinejad, that is until the U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, opened her championship winning mouth! text Elections Oz: a convenient dirt campaign yarra, Saturday, Sep 22 2007, 3:37pm
Gutter politics, smear, slur and ‘dirt’ are the order of the day in Oz politics. Accusations and counter accusations from both major parties have captured the attention of the local mass media – as was expected. But to paraphrase William, 'things are not what they seem;’ the incumbent and the contender have both breathed a sigh of relief, the dirt campaign has taken the pressure of our leaders who were faced with the prospect of spelling out their vacuous policies and future ‘plans’ for the nation.

YANGON, Myanmar – The past week has seen defiant Burmese Buddhist monks take to the streets chanting peace and demanding social change in military controlled Myanmar (Burma). It seems the religious ideal is not dead after all. [Shame on Jewish, Muslim, and Christian religious leaders who support blood, guts and war -- SHAME ON YOU HYPOCRITES!] (story and 3 images)

debt.jpg image Reserve Banks only delay the INEVITABLE peptide, Tuesday, Sep 18 2007, 12:51pm
The reward for misplaced faith in the faulty model of laissez-faire Capitalism is LOSS – that simple! Loss in the context of unregulated Capitalism includes everything considered of ‘value.’ It is over! The false value system that is destroying life on earth and is about to plunge the entire world into chaos is now beyond any one nation’s control or ‘managerial’ ability. In fact, to refer to today’s economic system as capitalism is erroneous – classic capitalism has d/evolved over the last few decades into ECONOMIC FEUDALISM; the resulting concentration of available wealth in the fewest possible hands is the root cause of system FAILURE! “The entire global financial structure is becoming uncontrollable in crucial ways that its nominal leaders never expected, and instability is its hallmark. The scope and operation of international financial markets, their “architecture”, as establishment experts describe it, has evolved haphazardly and its regulation is inefficient — indeed, almost nonexistent. Banks do not understand the chain of exposure and who owns what: senior financial regulators and bankers now admit this.” Gabriel Kolko “An Economy of Buccaneers and Fantacists” (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Cowardly disgrace image Police: the APEC disgrace finch, Monday, Sep 17 2007, 1:27pm
The ONE OUTSTANDING FEATURE of APEC was without doubt the massive and unprecedented police presence. Authorities attempted to compensate for their demonstrable LACK of policing skills by a massive (historically unwarranted) deployment of police numbers. It was hoped the sheer weight of numbers (visual presence/scarecrow principle) would carry the day! However, as was clearly demonstrated by the Chasers, SECURITY was left WANTING! Five thousand (incompetent) police do not constitute a secure environment in Australia! [Take note useless bureaucrats!] (story and 2 images)

nebulae7.jpg image The Distinguishing Ability finch, Thursday, Sep 13 2007, 11:35pm
We have been (erroneously) taught by science that the ability to use tools defines humans as distinct from the beasts of the field – a typically conservative scientific view! However, in its arrogance science has failed to do its research, it is now known that some birds and lower primates utilise objects as tools. Confined by its self-imposed empirical prison science has failed to see the ‘nose on its human face.’ What actually distinguishes man from the beasts (and blockhead empiricists) is ART! YES, the intuitive response and the impulse to create define the human species. (story and 1 comment and 3 images)

Alex, problem solving image Oz wakes up to John Howard peptide, Wednesday, Sep 12 2007, 4:06pm
The Oz conservative leader emerged from a challenge to his leadership today with a ‘brilliantly’ thought out plan – someone obviously doesn't have his best interests at heart! It reduces to something like this; vote for me and you also vote for the usurper Treasurer Costello, but if you don’t like him then you’re really voting for a team led by two leaders who hate each others guts. It concludes with another juicy illogic; vote for me and you vote for uncertainty, as my party will force me to retire immediately after the election – BLOODY BRILLIANT! text Hard Reality nano, Monday, Sep 10 2007, 1:57pm
As America continues to sink deeper and deeper into a military and economic quagmire of its own making (who needs enemies?) Most Americans continue to prefer denial to the incriminating reality of one million dead civilians (John Hopkins study) and a failed intervention in Iraq. However, reality poses no problems for winners, the competition is purring along as America, paralysed by its own fear and timidity, continues to pursue incompetent government and the consequences that pursuit entails.

policestate.jpg image The Great Divide: not an Oz geographic feature! Kwang zi, Sunday, Sep 9 2007, 12:57pm
Most Australians are familiar with the Great Dividing Range, erroneously referred to as the mountains, which run north-south along the East Coast. As of this week Australia has become a divided, authoritarian police state, with no discernible checks or balances whatsoever. Legislators simply pen new laws as required by conservative governments and authoritarian Premiers and centuries of democratic freedoms are lost! The tight ideological relationship between conservative Prime Ministers (John Howard) and State Premiers (Morris ‘il Duce’ Iemma) is now plain to see as is the slow death of traditional Australia and its unique character and culture.
