Hillary ‘Bilderberg’ Clinton: the face and soul of the rotten status quo
nano, Tuesday, Apr 22 2008, 6:15am
We need not go into details or add to the media saturation of the past months; all the sordid information and vile tactics in the race for the leadership of the vilest nation on earth have been served to us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, ad nauseam! (story and 2 images)

Condoleezza Rice rushes to reassure Iraqi Puppet government
budgie, Sunday, Apr 20 2008, 9:38pm
Immediately after the Iraqi Shi'ite leader Muqtada al-Sadr threatened to unleash open warfare in Iraq and remove the U.S. puppet government, Condi Rice jumped a jet -- instead of Bush – and flew to Iraq to reassure the subservient Maliki that the U.S. would soon be launching an attack on Iran, which -- it hoped -- would weaken and disrupt Sadr’s power base, dream on Condi! [Are we watching all this Russia and China; are we ready for the Israeli attack on Syria and the U.S. attack on Iran, ‘comrades?’ Or are we too busy with the Olympic games – the perfect time to attack?] (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

Pope Hypocrite and religious envy syndrome
fish, Saturday, Apr 19 2008, 7:56am
In the most flagrant manner possible the Roman Catholic Pope, as if to compete with the recent brazen hypocrisy of the Dalai Fraud, ended a speech in the U.S. with Bush’s favourite concluding remark, “God bless America” – suck, suck! We are aware religious leaders live sheltered lives but the civilian death toll in Iraq, now exceeding one million, with an additional four million displaced persons and a totally ruined state, is difficult for even a Pope to ignore! Timor-Leste: Reinado, the expendable operative
dingo, Wednesday, Apr 16 2008, 9:35pm
Jose Ramos-Horta, president of East Timor, returned home to a warm, staged welcome today, however, he also returns to a stew of intrigue, double dealing, back-stabbing and very lethal politics – watch your back Jose, your PM Xanana Gusmao is a duplicitous jackal! There are more questions surrounding the fateful day duped and expendable rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado, was shot and killed in the grounds of the President’s residence than satisfactory answers from any quarter. Email spying: Gillard’s croc of Stalinist totalitarianism
Kismo, Sunday, Apr 13 2008, 8:40pm
The totalitarian leaning Australian government announced today that it would legislate to allow ‘employers/bosses’ to read the emails and other digital communications of their employees. A ‘slight’ intrusion on personal liberties to say the bloody least – perhaps staff should read managements’ emails to maintain a security balance! Who is watching the watchers? No one of course! This strategy is unadulterated totalitarian poison, designed to alienate and engender mistrust and division among employees and make them more amenable to their employer’s control. The feeble excuse offered the Australian public for this unacceptable intrusion is maintaining “national security.” Not so, Ms Stasi Gillard! (story and 1 image)

U.S. errand boy, Kevin Rudd, returns to Oz
nano, Sunday, Apr 13 2008, 3:47am
Our globe trotting PM has returned home after making no positive impact in world affairs, however, our Kevin did manage to aggravate China and offend Japan – well done, Kevin! Our media darling PM did arouse the curiosity of some unimportant commentators; who was this curious mandarin speaking oddity from Australia and what real impact did he hope to effect on the world reading from an American script?

Obama wins first battle for the democratisation of America
banjo, Saturday, Apr 12 2008, 11:04pm
Referring to specifics – THE INTERNET – Barack Obama sent shock waves through traditional ruling communities in the USA and western WORLD! The rich and powerful had just been given a wake-up call by a black American of Kenyan and Irish ancestry. Alarm and consternation has befallen members of the Bilderberg group; their traditional power-base -- wealth -- had just been threatened by a ‘dark’ horse Senator from Illinios! “We have created a parallel public financing system where the American people decide -- if they want to support a campaign they can get on the Internet and finance it,” Obama stated at a Washington fundraiser. “And they will have as much access and influence over the course and direction of our campaign that traditionally [was] reserved for the wealthy and the powerful,” he added! [My emphasis.] (story and 1 comment)

Kingfisher, Friday, Apr 11 2008, 6:45am

Kevin Rudd, errand boy and hypocrite
barra, Wednesday, Apr 9 2008, 6:17am
The Australian PM and U.S. errand boy, Kevin Rudd, very un-diplomatically took the American position on Tibet while on an official visit to China. It seems our pipsqueak leader has forgotten his primary responsibility of promoting and pursuing Australian interests. Daddy America came first with Howard and Rudd is nothing if not a Howard clone. Our Kevin is running the same slavish course set by Howard. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Australia’s unforgivable crime: homeless and rejected youth
budgie, Monday, Apr 7 2008, 9:29pm
It need not be emphasised that a society’s most precious resource is its next generation. In affluent societies disproportionate increases in youth homelessness is unforgivable and represents the most reprehensible failure of government social policy. (story and 1 image)

Give ‘em a flag to wave and tell ‘em they’re free!
peptide, Saturday, Apr 5 2008, 9:15pm
One conspicuous feature of the recent NATO summit was the rhetoric or rather diatribes and double-speak from the world’s ‘most powerful leaders.’ Bush and some NATO leaders favoured the words 'liberty' and 'freedom' in their media statements and public addresses. However, western interventions in Afghanistan and Iraq tell another tragic story -- the verifiable TRUE story! (story and 1 image)

Australian kiss-arse politics
barra, Friday, Apr 4 2008, 5:50pm
If anyone harboured any doubts regarding Australia’s CONTINUING role as sycophantic, servile, cringing, lackey to America, doubt no more. Rudd confirmed ‘our’ position at the recent NATO summit with a subservient salute to his commander, George W Bush. It was tragic and amusing to see pipsqueak Rudd, clearly out of his depth in Europe, chasing the bully of the class for comfort! (story and 1 image)

A Tactical Manoeuvre
budgie, Thursday, Apr 3 2008, 6:54am
The following AP report announcing NATO’s endorsement of Bush’s missile defence shield in Eastern Europe is sure to create consternation in Moscow and Beijing – and I hope it does! If the Chinese and Russians are incapable of determining when they are under attack perhaps they too should join NATO -- though it is an invitation only military club. At least the offer to join would put the West on the spot and reveal its true intentions.

NATO: a historical inversion
nano, Tuesday, Apr 1 2008, 8:52pm
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) was originally utilised by WWII US president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, to dismantle the British Empire – Churchill was forced to sign the empire away in exchange for American assistance in the war. So began, with considerable help from Lend-Lease, the ascendancy of the USA in world affairs. Debate among historians over whether or not Roosevelt intentionally sought to subvert Britain’s power/wealth base continues today; however, most agree that FDR detested imperialism and quite intentionally sought to dismantle (and displace) the British Empire. The ‘Claytons’ Prime Minister
Kingfisher, Monday, Mar 31 2008, 9:04pm
Kevin Rudd, the leader you have when you do not have a real leader, has left the country to prance and posture on the world stage. Rudd is a man of impressions NOT actions, a media performer, a petty bureaucrat, expert in the ‘art’ of looking busy! All bureaucrats learn early in their careers how to ‘fake it’ and delegate the job to another. However, Rudd is less than expert in the art of political deception, his electoral PROMISE of Australian troop withdrawal from Iraq is a good test of his integrity and performance! The Imperative Revolution
nano, Sunday, Mar 30 2008, 10:12pm
The ‘us and them’ approach of social leadership is tired, very tired! It’s an old, divisionist rhetoric; one that is proving less appealing with each new unnecessary war people are forced to confront! There must be a better way and there is! Need I spell out the obvious? (story and 1 comment)

Tibetan monks (hypocrites) redefine Buddhist pacifism
nano, Friday, Mar 28 2008, 7:52pm
In a purely Buddhist sense there are no others, pluralisms, life-death or binaries of any kind; hence there is no need to fight as there is no one to fight and nothing to fight against! What the world is currently witnessing in Tibet is pure unadulterated religious hypocrisy – Buddhist robes and shaven heads do not a Buddhist make! That should now be obvious to even the most dim-witted Hollywood film stars and western space cadets! (story and 2 images)

Ramos-Horta, take 2!
budgie, Thursday, Mar 27 2008, 8:45pm
Right on cue gentlemen! Either in response to the previous article [see link] or as a result of very bad media management, the Australian authorities have urged President Ramos-Horta to conduct another (managed) interview and lay the blame of his attempted assassination clearly on rebel leader, Afredo Reindo and his “hateful” female lawyer! But it’s a damn shame the accusation is pure conjecture or worse the result of coercion.

Ramos-Horta interviewed on ABC
budgie, Thursday, Mar 27 2008, 8:58am
An Australian current affairs program, ‘Lateline,’ featured an interview with the convalescing President of Timor-Leste last night. However, very little in the way of new information was forthcoming. Either the President, Jose Ramos-Horta, was intentionally withholding information or he has little new knowledge to offer regarding the attempt on his life.
