Australian Federal Police Commissioner, Mick ‘lost the plot’ Keelty, seems to be suffering short-term memory loss as a result of alcohol and prescription drug abuse. In an extraordinary outburst Keelty slammed the media and others, “who could put two sentences together,” for criticising his handling of various cases and bungling the Dr. Haneef investigation.
Mental lepers guild of Australia
Keelty actually stated that reporters and others should “not comment on a case” until it is finalised. Perhaps Keelty would like to review the many instances he and former Immigration Minister, Kevin ‘what day is it’ Andrews, made outrageous comments to the media during investigations. Furthermore, the comments were all clearly designed to influence public opinion and compromise/assassinate the character of an innocent man. The former PM, John ‘rodent’ Howard, is also indirectly implicated in this affair.
We could barely believe today’s ABC coverage of an address Keelty delivered to the Sydney Institute:
“Commissioner Keelty told the Sydney Institute last night that there should be no public comment made about terrorism investigations until each matter has been finalised in court.”
No further evidence is required of obvious brain damage and incompetence; Keelty’s hypocrisy and cognitive dysfunction is self-evident! Award winning journo, Hedley Thomas, pounced on Keelty’s mindless statement, “..the facts are that in the Mohamed Haneef case and others, it's been the police, security agencies and politicians using police information that have smeared the character of the suspects before they've even been charged." Exactly!
We warned new PM Kevin ‘custard-face’ Rudd that he would soon regret his decision allowing Keelty to continue as Chief of the AFP; Keelty’s incompetence was evident long before his latest mindless outburst!
However, it has become apparent that Rudd is too frightened to make relatively simple leadership decisions. God help us in a national crisis! We also note the timid stamp Rudd has placed on his ministers; Foreign Minister Stephen Smith was falling over himself to assure the Americans that the new Australian ‘leadership’ has mastered the knee posture perfected by former PM, John Howard. Smith’s servility and Condi Rice’s amusement were obvious to all during their joint press conference – Aussies who witnessed this clip were disgusted by Smith's grovelling.
Our advice to Keelty is simply resign and seek treatment for mental problems now openly displayed to the world – mental incompetence will work in your favour, Mick!
[No more doubts about you, Mr Kevin Rudd.]
