Haneef Inquiry: a toothless tiger

The Haneef inquiry has adopted the political strategy of the current Oz PM, Kevin ‘poseur’ Rudd. Ring those ‘bells,’ blow those ‘whistles’ but for God’s sake don’t actually DO ANYTHING to threaten the status quo! After months of inaction on the important issues it may prove revealing to contrast the style of the previous (despicable) Howard government with Rudd and his mob of no-hopers!

Remember that lying, little, racist, rodent, John Howard? An ‘aluminium tube’ here, another one there, and the nation was involved in an illegal war/holocaust in Iraq! The LIES notwithstanding Australia was at war, for fuck’s sake! War rates as one of the highest actions for any government.

A vote here, another there, and kiss goodbye to workers' rights! Industrial Relations ‘reforms’ were another of Howard’s dastardly ACTIONS. His ideology of free market capitalism allowed the nation to be plundered at speed by the world’s most voracious Transnational mining corporations. Executives and CEOs earned salaries in the tens of millions of dollars while the remainder of the population ‘enjoyed' downward pressure on real wages – that was our Johnny at WORK!

For good but mostly ill, NO ONE CAN ACCUSE Howard OF FAILING TO ACT ON MAJOR ISSUES! Don’t get me wrong I’d shoot the little war criminal as soon as look at him, but no one can deny he was a man/rodent of ACTION! So, where the fuck is Kevin, the people's choice? Oh, here he is having a toothless inquiry into one of the most compromising episodes of the former, criminal, Howard government, the Haneef scandal. But our ‘one term’ Kevin is too gutless to spill blood when it’s clearly warranted.

The heads on offer for breaching a host of laws and ministerial codes of conduct are are no less than ex-PM, Howard, AFP Commissioner, Keelty and Immigration Minister, Andrews. Fabricating a case to enhance the election prospects of Howard rates as extremely serious even in our apathetic democracy!

However, the Australian people are offered a castrated bull or a toothless tiger for an inquiry – in other words, we’re having a ‘Claytons’ inquiry to match our ‘Claytons’ Prime Minister!
