Australia Day: national Shame and Failure day

I had to laugh out loud this tragic ‘Australia’ Day; are we celebrating our total disregard for a national identity by allowing a foreign power to indefinitely torture an Australian citizen, David Hicks? Should we beam with pride at the ‘Australian’ flag, incorporating the pommy Union Jack? Or perhaps we should pay homage to the most cowardly, servile and traitorous Prime Minister in Australian history! Australia Day 2007 will long be remembered as national shame day. A nowhere people celebrating a nowhere nation with the appropriate ‘leader’ who leads his herd of cringing servile nobodies, nowhere! Today we all share in the most pathetic and tragic Australia Day in history, Oi, Oi, Oink!

The cowardly cringe could be detected in the most basic attire; large numbers of police, wearing American style baseball caps, were patrolling crowds who were frantically searching for an Oz identity. The practical Oz beach/jungle hat has been discarded with the protection it offers under the Oz sun – cringe, cringer and cringe some more! The screaming fact, the glaring reality is, we have NOTHING to celebrate except post and neo-colonial symbols and our LACK of identity – it's Australia Day, is it?

Get a grip you nothings; your fearful leader, John Howard, has obliged the servile, cowardly cringe by eliminating values that once defined us as a distinct culture. When faced with the prospect of leading a real independent and sovereign nation, Howard shit himself and proceeded to destroy every last vestige that defined us as distinct; there is nothing left today but SERVILITY.

Slavery, the fate of cowards and cringers, is the reward for allowing Howard to abandon Hicks and destroy every traditional Oz value cherished for generations.

Where have all the Aussies gone?
