Kevin Rudd: the invisible PM

Australia is not short of critical issues affecting the nation at present. Perhaps the most politically damaging -- but by no means the most important – are bank interest rate hikes and the lack of regulation in this regard! The parasitic Banks are attempting – successfully at this stage -- to pass the cost of THEIR INCOMPETENCE to the public! The feeble and outrageous excuse given to Rudd’s eunuch government and the Australian people is that interest rates have risen in order to compensate for losses sustained from “exposure” to the U.S. credit crisis; in other words, ‘I want YOU to pay for MY incompetence,’ say the banks! ‘Impressive’ manoeuvre! The arrogance of deregulated Australian banks knows no bounds as is clearly evident today; it seems the word RESPONSIBILITY only applies to the public [servicing bank loans] but not to Bank executives – a very nice arrangement, for some!

Has anyone seen Rudd lately, where is our new fearless leader who seems to be cast in the same cowardly mould as his predecessor, John ‘lackey’ Howard? Be careful Kevin, the Japanese whaling fleet, Monsanto, BHP or the Banks might get you!

Australians have been raised to accept responsibility for their actions – please note the basis of all Law/regulation in this regard. So who exonerates the banks from their mismanagement, mistakes and incompetence and ALLOWS them to dump the costs of their blunders onto the public, Kevin, we would all like to know? Where is the “fair go” PM, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Monsanto, BHP and Financial Institutions informed him who is really running the country?

Kevin, it’s time to gird your loins and LEAD! Shouldn’t you be informing the public and the Banks that Australians accept responsibility for their actions and any attempt to evade serious responsibility is morally and socially reprehensible? Perhaps informing the sordid Banking fraternity that failure to accept responsibility would result in regulatory intervention! That is sure to get their attention and assist in clarifying matters of responsibility.

This region will face many extremely serious issues in the near future. Australia can ill-afford a PM who is incapable of leadership in the simplest matters -- we are ready and prepared for the challenge, are you, Kevin?

Who is the Prime Minister you have when you don’t have a Prime Minister, why Kevin Rudd, of course!
