It’s confirmed -- Rudd really is a Dud

We all waited patiently for the new PM to set about IMPROVING conditions for Australians. We waited in vain for a new vision for the nation, a vision incorporating fairer deals for all – remember Rudd’s lying election slogan, “a fair go for all Australians?” To date all we have seen is reticence, fear, INABILITY to govern, no vision for the FUTURE whatsoever – just the same ol’, same ol’ SERVILITY to big money interests. [The same interests that have plunged the world into economic recession and continue to plunder our finite natural resources at an alarming rate!] So far Rudd’s ‘leadership’ has been characterised by kow-towing to the Corporations and the PARASITIC Banks; neither the Treasurer, Wayne Swan, nor Kevin Rudd possess the courage, skill or fortitude required to deal with the Banks or the RAPACIOUS Transnationals. But the clearest indicator to date of Rudd’s THOROUGH INCOMPETENCE is his adoption/emulation of a FAILED American strategy of declaring “war” on social problems; we quote from a previous article:
“America postures as an invincible protector; part of its ‘performance’ is the absurd declaration of war on any social problem or perceived threat. In the past there was the “War on Drugs,” the “War on Crime” and now the war on the noun “Terror.” If we examine the success rate of the many ‘wars’ the US wages we see that the war on drugs is a complete failure; the war on crime has only increased the profits of organised criminals; the war on terror(ism) is being lost at an alarming rate. America has conveniently supplied the terrorists with a theatre in which to wage their war and increase their numbers.” [Link below.]
The BEREFT, lacklustre, Rudd has knowingly or unwittingly taken a leaf from the American book of social (mis)management. For those who held out hoping beyond all hope that Rudd would deliver the goods and supply what it takes to lead a nation, his latest effort of declaring “war” on a social problem, confirms he is a man who lacks vision and ability.
Leading a nation is a matter of skill, intelligence, vision AND THE ABILITY TO REALISE THOSE VISIONS. A prerequisite for social management is of course the ability to gauge the public mood and manage the masses; an acute understanding of the cultural consciousness is required. Some politicians possess these skills instinctively others pay consultants for calculated results.
Consider America’s social war doctrines. Declaring war on ‘everything that moves’ can be traced to the birth of that nation. America as a free nation was forged from wars, the War of Independence stands as the most defining victory. As a result, ‘war’ is embedded in the American cultural psyche; the people are more responsive to the word ‘war’ than other cultures -- particularly Federated Australia. Have you noticed how eager most American presidents have been to wage war (on anything); how quick they are to engage in military ‘solutions?’ The nation is almost obliged to continue its greatest victory; one deeply embedded in the nation’s cultural consciousness. Regardless of the many failed ‘wars’ on social problems and real military defeats, rousing the American population with slogans and speeches of war continues to be effective. ‘War’ (talk) in America has ‘currency’ as we say in the trade.
The bereft Oz PM, Kevin DUD, lacking even a skerrick of talent or a spark of vision, adopts a totally inappropriate strategy for Australia by declaring “war on inflation” – no traction whatsoever, what a thorough fuckwit! Cultural triggers for Australia are fairness, equity, ‘having a go,’ attacking the powers, favouring the underdog etc – are we able to trace these characteristics to the injustices of the nation's convict past? I wonder -- you bunch of moronic, bereft, no-talent, nothings -- get fucked!
That about sums it up, don’t you think ol’ mate?
