Former racist Oz leader refuses to attend Indigenous Reconciliation Ceremony

Former PM, racist and war criminal John Howard has declined an invitation to attend a reconciliation ceremony designed to address past injustices suffered by the indigenous population of Australia. Howard’s miserable gesture is true to form. Perhaps now investigations into Howard’s involvement in Iraqi war crimes and crimes against humanity should proceed at speed.

Racist and war criminal, John Howard

Australia needs to face and heal its racist and criminal past and address its involvement in the Iraq holocaust before it can face the future free from its antiquated colonial mentality, which Howard typifies to the extreme.

John Howard, the pathologically lying, ‘aluminium tubing,’ Prime Minister and a number of his senior ministers are not free from the risk of prosecution. The latest despicable gesture from Howard should leave no doubt as to the need to PROCEED with enlightened policies and legal prerogatives regarding war crimes and the Haneef inquiry, which also involves the clearly incompetent Chief of the AFP, Mick ‘dropkick’ Keelty.

The Australian nation cannot afford to be constantly embarrassed by Howard’s retrogressive behaviour. His prosecution would forever lay to rest an ugly chapter of Australia’s past and allow the nation to embrace a new vision for the future.

In view of the urgent need to heal injustices of the past and face the challenges of the future the Australian population can ill-afford indecisive, vacillating and timid leadership. The nation requires strong, dynamic and decisive leaders to steer it into the future. We hope the current Rudd government is up to the task; however, little progress with pressing reforms has occurred to date.
