Assassinate the WORLD – good luck!
quill, Friday, Oct 21 2011, 10:37pm
It seems appropriate after the CIA backed assassination of former Libyan leader, Col. Muammar Gaddafi and the UN sanctioned criminal, ‘humanitarian’ bombing DESTRUCTION of Libya that the effectiveness of assassination programs and the otherwise ‘silencing’ or ‘neutralising’ of political and social ‘leaders,’ be assessed for its efficacy and general ‘success’ in achieving desired aims or goals.

Scientific Study Confirms Corporatists Run the World
Andy Coghlan and Debora MacKenzie via gan, Friday, Oct 21 2011, 8:11am
AS protests against financial power sweep the world this week, science may have confirmed the protesters' worst fears. An analysis of the relationships between 43,000 transnational corporations has identified a relatively small group of companies, mainly banks, with disproportionate power over the global economy. Gaddafi Reported Murdered by CIA backed Rebel Forces
judd, Thursday, Oct 20 2011, 8:28am
Mixed reports of Col. Gaddafi's capture/death are coming from confused, disparate rebel forces in Libya; however, it is improbably that the US/NATO would allow a captured Gaddafi to stand trial as the experience with Saddam proved compromising and counter-productive. We can all safely assume that reports of Gaddafi's death are accurate, as it was only a matter of time before the might of the US/NATO criminal alliance prevailed over a most wily and irritating African foe. Not a ‘Left or Right’ Distraction – Simply a Crime and JUSTICE Issue
nano, Wednesday, Oct 19 2011, 11:09pm
Our democracies have been hijacked by CRIMINAL Banking, Financial and Transnational Corporatist elites which have demonstrated via their puppet governments/militaries that they have no regard whatsoever for INNOCENT human life or private property – civilian holocausts in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya painfully furnish the evidence. Their sociopathic, single-minded pursuit of personal gain and Profit has wrought CHAOS on a previously, relatively peaceful world.

American invasion of all Africa under way -- China and Russia look on in Dismay
John 'better late than never' Pilger via quin, Wednesday, Oct 19 2011, 9:42pm
On 14 October, President Barack Obama announced he was sending United States special forces troops to Uganda to join the civil war there. In the next few months, US combat troops will be sent to South Sudan, Congo and Central African Republic. They will only “engage” for “self-defence”, says Obama, satirically. With Libya secured, an American invasion of the African continent is under way.

The Outrageous War Crimes Committed by US/NATO in Libya
Jeremy Salt via jalal, Wednesday, Oct 19 2011, 9:12am
A legend is being created that is going to haunt the people who have been propelled into power in Tripoli. In Sirte a handful of men have set an example of bravery in the face of impossible odds that will eventually find its place in Arab history. Weeks of missile and bomb attacks have reduced the centre of the city to ruins and killed an unknown number of civilians. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Global Resource Wars: US vs China
darcy, Tuesday, Oct 18 2011, 10:49pm
While the Corporate media DISTRACTS with non-issue news like the DO-NOTHING ‘Occupy’ spectacle, some correspondents are covering REAL news stories; I am referring to the American confrontation with China and the neo-colonial US push for African resources in nations where China has billions already invested -- America/NATO has recently demonstrated in Libya it respects no Chinese claims, investments or established business arrangements, regardless of all the lies and false promises given to Beijing. Solution to the Impending Banking Crisis
tyco, Monday, Oct 17 2011, 11:29pm
Wake up, the banks are broke, INSOLVENT and ready to fall hard. First Europe then the US, Asia and the rest -- the global Reserve Banking System has FAILED. [In reality the Reserve Banking Cartel created the crisis via its financial (non-productive) profiteering and FRAUD. It bled the global coffers dry and now it (very temporarily) sustains itself on printing toilet paper money -- LUDICROUS! (story and 2 comments)

Parroting speakers is moronic, 'Occupy!'
lance, Monday, Oct 17 2011, 11:45am
Whatever noble sentiment in the 'Occupy' movement manifests itself as a crowd mindlessly repeating/parroting the words of a speaker, one thing is clear, it does NOT represent 'participatory' or 'direct' Democracy; however, it does present as the most moronic form of subservience and mindless slavery witnessed in recent times -- wake up, 'Occupy,' and dispense with this demeaning, IDIOTIC and MORONIC habit! Ruling Elites, Executives and other social Parasites begin to worry as Protest movement goes GLOBAL
quin, Saturday, Oct 15 2011, 9:56pm
The KNOWN parasitic filth that exploits the masses, the environment – everything -- and drags entire nations into needless wars on FALSE pretences and LIES; that pollutes the environment and destroys everything it touches in order to turn a financial PROFIT, is beginning to worry! Their corporate mass media is attempting to manage public perceptions yet again. All manner of deflections and evasions are today evident in the reporting of the GLOBAL protests against self-serving, CRIMINAL Banker, Executive and minority ruling elites. (story and 1 comment)

Which nation will be the first to Hang a criminal Banker?
noose, Saturday, Oct 15 2011, 1:07pm
I could tell you the last though it should be the first -- America!
Global solidarity with the NY 'Occupy' movement drew tens of thousands of 'indignants' onto the streets in Rome; acutely aware of who is responsible for all the economic ills and illegal wars, Italian demonstrators were unable to contain their frustration and began rioting, breaking bank windows and torching a few cars. These actions were a CLEAR signal warning that Europeans, unlike whipped-dog, passive Americans, have had it up to their throats with the criminal, Executive, Corporatist, Banker elites. Your Brain on Meditation
Andrew Rader via stylus, Saturday, Oct 15 2011, 10:28am
"There's a common misunderstanding among all the human beings who have ever been born on the Earth that the best way to live is to try to avoid pain and just try to get comfortable. You can see this even in insects and animals and birds. All of us are the same. A much more interesting, kind, adventurous and joyful approach to life is to begin to develop our curiosity, not caring whether the object of our inquisitiveness is bitter or sweet. To lead a life that goes beyond pettiness and prejudice and always wanting to make sure that everything turns out on our own terms, to lead a more passionate, full and delightful life than that, we must realize that we can endure a lot of pain and pleasure for the sake of finding out who we are and what this world is, how we tick and how our world ticks, how the whole thing just is." - Pema Chodron (story and 1 image)

Ongoing GLOBAL Economic Crisis -- Unpayable debt and insolvency in Europe
Bob Chapman via stan, Saturday, Oct 15 2011, 9:42am
The big question is will Greece succumb to insolvency in November? Our answer is probably not. It should take 3 to 6 months but it is coming no matter how much money and credit is thrown at the problem. The markets on the short-term basis believe it is a coin toss. If the funds are not forthcoming you could see a 60-80 percent haircut on bond losses. If it is 3 to 6 months it will probably be 100%. Many in Europe believe the Merkel-Sarkozy team has a plan that will work, but as yet we do not know what that plan is. In spite of that the euro this past week rallied from $1.32 to $1.38 as the US dollar fell lower.
