code2.jpg image Hacks and ‘bots’ – very old news Kismo, Thursday, Nov 29 2007, 2:09pm
The FBI and other mental leper agencies have finally become aware of a very old hacking method (15 years would be close) of harnessing and mining info from private computers – good work dimwits, in relative terms 15 years in IT equals about 75 years in other industries! Kiddie hackers have been accruing ‘bots’ (short for robot) slave machines (zombies) for years, usually for childish pursuits like attacking each other’s systems (DDoS attacks) hacker wars, as they are known. Our servers were subjected to one of these mindless attacks 15 years ago – easily circumvented with professional expertise, which ‘intelligence’ and ‘security’ agencies lack, I might add! 'New' PM, Kevin Rudd image Actions speak loudest budgie, Thursday, Nov 29 2007, 11:38am
‘Things must change so that they can stay the same’ or ‘a change of leaders is the joy of fools.’ These two political statements are dynamically brought to the foreground when a change of national leadership occurs. In Australia all eyes are on the new leader, Kevin Rudd, and we sincerely hope the above cynical adages do not accurately portray him as just another face behind which the real rulers continue to machinate. text Is Our Worship of Consumerism and Technology Making Us Depressed? Bruce E. Levine via rialator, Tuesday, Nov 27 2007, 7:02pm
The following is an excerpt from Surviving America's Depression Epidemic: How to Find Morale, Energy, and Community in a World Gone Crazy (Chelsea Green, 2007) by Bruce E. Levine, and is reprinted here with permission from the publisher. In this book, Levine delves into the roots of depression and links our increasingly consumer-based culture and standard-practice psychiatric treatments to worsening depression, instead of solving it.

'Blasphemous' bear image Religion: a Global plague of the Mind peptide, Tuesday, Nov 27 2007, 10:33am
Try as we might we cannot ignore the mindless, inane and violent antics of religionists. It is clear that this particular social disease must be dealt with before more mindless violence affects our respective societies. The principal offenders are of the Abrahamic tradition; even a cursory read of the Old Testament describes an insane, genocidal, violent, morbidly moody, God, who is full of contradictions – a nut case in other words! I challenge any theologian from the Abrahamic tradition, Judaism, Islam or Christianity to prove otherwise! Their ‘God’ in his own words, via the mediumistic talents of his ‘prophets,’ is a psychopathic basket case. It’s time the human race grew up and relinquished irrational, infantile, violent, fantasies. (story and 1 comment and 3 images)

Bernie Banton image Goodbye Bernie, goodbye ol’ mate! barra, Monday, Nov 26 2007, 10:59am
The Imperial British say, “the King is dead, long live the King;” in Australia we say, “Bernie Banton is dead long live Bernie,” AND the Oz tradition of fair play and the fair go. Commiserations to the family and a heroic tribute to a REAL Aussie fighter – hang your heads you scumbag, murdering, corporate-loving, conservatives! Everyone involved in the disgraceful attempt to shirk responsibility in Bernie’s case should be tried for manslaughter! (story and 2 images)

text Banks Gone Wild Paul Krugman vie reed, Saturday, Nov 24 2007, 11:12am
"What were they smoking?” asks the cover of the current issue of Fortune magazine. Underneath the headline are photos of recently deposed Wall Street titans, captioned with the staggering sums they managed to lose.

The answer, of course, is that they were high on the usual drug — greed. And they were encouraged to make socially destructive decisions by a system of executive compensation that should have been reformed after the Enron and WorldCom scandals, but wasn’t.

Jesus/Dionysus image Jesus, a fag? fish, Saturday, Nov 24 2007, 10:09am
The Jews consider an unmarried adult male as not quite right, not human in fact. Jesus was in the prime of his libidinous life when he was killed at age 33 yet we have no clear record of any sexual liaison with anyone – male, female or hamster! The question is therefore begged, what were Jesus’ sexual predilections and what revealing information of a sexual nature exists in texts today. (story and 1 image)

The world is at a crossroads today, NOW! The conservative criminals who are responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent men, women and CHILDREN in the Middle East and Iraq MUST be held to account if the world would survive in a new era of co-operation as opposed to destruction and senseless antagonism.

mobile01.jpg image Open-Source Warfare Robert N Charette via Kismo, Friday, Nov 23 2007, 9:45pm
“What we are seeing is the empowerment of the individual to conduct war,” says John Robb, a counterterrorism expert and author of the book Brave New War (John Wiley & Sons), which came out in April. While the concept of asymmetric warfare dates back at least 2000 years, to the Chinese military strategist Sun-tzu, the conflict in Iraq has redefined the nature of such struggles. As events are making painfully clear, Robb says, warfare is being transformed from a closed, state-sponsored affair to one where the means and the know-how to do battle are readily found on the Internet and at your local RadioShack. This open global access to increasingly powerful technological tools, he says, is in effect allowing “small groups to…declare war on nations.” (story and 2 images)

John Howard -- brazen war criminal image Brother’s Keeper fish, Friday, Nov 23 2007, 1:21pm
John ‘psychopath’ Bolton and Condi ‘give war a chance’ Rice, introduced the world to U.S. SANCTIONED INFANTICIDE during the South Lebanon conflict, notwithstanding the ongoing infanticide DENIAL in Iraq. Over one million children have been killed and maimed in Iraq as a direct result of invasive, violent, western intervention. However, the world not only tolerates this most heinous of all crimes IT PARTICIPATES by failing to bring the known criminals to justice. (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

The corporate selection, Howard and Rudd image Corporate control confirmed by vacuous Oz election Kingfisher, Thursday, Nov 22 2007, 12:03pm
The current Australian federal election has seen the population barraged with non-substantive slogans, marketing tricks, rhetoric, negative fear campaigns and personal attacks BUT VERY LITTLE IN THE WAY OF REAL POLICIES! Neither major party has detailed policies for what promises to be a very dire future for the planet but particularly for Australia. That is the tragedy of corporate controlled Australia today; make no mistake, the two leaders vying for government have pledged their allegiance to the corporate sector above all else! NATO troops -- lost in Afghanistan image NATO, fools rush in! peptide, Wednesday, Nov 21 2007, 10:08am
A reference was made in an earlier article to the real masters of war – Afghans, Serbs and Vietnamese. Today the reality of that FACT is highlighted by a recent report on developments in Afghanistan. Afghan forces – comprising only of common Afghanis – are teaching modern western soldiers that wars are won by people not propaganda, bribery, UAVs, indiscriminate artillery or missile attacks. This is warfare at grass roots level -- warfare NATO’s modern armies are not ‘equipped’ to fight! (story and 1 image)

It’s dreamboat time in pathological paradise! Yes, the topic is religion, a favourite of mindless morons regardless of race or nationality. No human society has been spared; religion induced murder, destruction, violence and insanity knock on every door, hut, tent and lean-to on the planet. But before proceeding I would, in a sentence, highlight the fact that ALL religions are FAILED – irrefutable fact! Furthermore religious leaders are the most brazen and despicable hypocrites on the planet!

With the exception of the homicidal, sociopathic, Jew God, Jehovah, who delights in genocide (Jericho) and displays a weakness for gold and silver (for fuck’s sake) religions teach PEACE! However, religious leaders throughout history have interpreted PEACE as WAR! (story and 1 image and 1 attached file)

Racist, coward and war cirminal: the 'best' PM we've ever had! image Today’s Colonial Australia dingo, Monday, Nov 19 2007, 10:34am
What a pathetic lot Aussies really are; their current war criminal leader, John Howard, typifies the national character perfectly. The former British (now American) colony continues to suffer from a colonial cringe mentality a century after declaring Federation. Someone forgot to declare a national IDENTITY at the time of federation and Aussies have suffered lackey status and inferiority ever since! (story and 1 image)
